And, having arisen, he went on; and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch, a state-officer of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship; he was also returning, and, sitting on his chariot, was reading the prophet Isaiah.

But the Lord, answering, said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; but of one thing there is need; for Mary chose the good part, which, indeed, shall not be taken away from her."
Martha, therefore, when she heard that Jesus was coming, met Him; but Mary was sitting in the house.
And, after the two days, He went forth thence into Galilee; for Jesus Himself testified, that a prophet has no honor in his own country. When, therefore, He came into Galilee, the Galilaeans received Him, having seen all that He did in Jerusalem at the feast; for they also went to the feast.read more.

And, when Paul and Barnabas had no little dissension and discussion with them, they arranged that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders, concerning this question.
which also they did, sending it to the elders through the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Show ye, therefore, toward them, before the assemblies, the proof of your love, and of our glorying on your behalf.
But, when Cephas came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was blameworthy;
But I am hoping in the Lord Jesus shortly to send Timothy to you, that I also may be cheerful, when having known the things concerning you.
And, after some days, Paul said to Barnabas, "Turning about, let us visit the brethren in every city, in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing." And Barnabas was desiring to take with them John also, who was called Mark. But Paul was not thinking it proper to take him with them, who withdrew from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.read more.
And there arose a sharp contention, so that they parted one from the other; and Barnabas, taking with him Mark, sailed away to Cyprus. And Paul, haring chosen Silas, went forth, being commended by the brethren to the grace of the Lord. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.
Now, when these things were ended, Paul purposed in his spirit, after passing through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem; saying, "After I have been there, I must see Rome also."
but now, having no longer any place in these regions; and, having a desire for many years to come to you, whensoever I go to Spain (for I am hoping, in passing through, to see you, and to be sent on my way thither by you, if first I have been satisfied, in a measure, with your company); but now I am going to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints.read more.
For Macedonia and Achaia were well pleased to make a certain contribution to the poor of the saints who are in Jerusalem. Indeed, they were well pleased, and their debtors they are; for, if the gentiles were partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also to minister to them in carnal things. After having completed this, and having sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you into Spain; and I know that, when coming to you, I will come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.
And I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia: and it may be that I will remain, or even winter with you, that you may send me forward, wherever I may go.
And in this confidence I was purposing before to come to you, that ye might have a second favor; and through you to go into Macedonia, and from Macedonia to come again to you, and by you to be sent forward to Judaea.
But I determined this for myself, that I would not come to you again in sorrow.
Behold, this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be burdensome to you; for I seek not yours, but you; for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
For ye yourselves, brethren, know our entrance to you, that it has not become vain;
When I shall send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, give diligence to come to me to Nicopolis; for there I have decided to winter.
And from thence the brethren, having heard the tidings concerning us, came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and the Three Taverns; seeing whom, Paul, giving thanks to God, took courage.
Yet I deemed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and fellow-worker, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and minister to my need;
The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; because he ofttimes refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; but, being in Rome, he diligently sought me, and found me
Give diligence to come to me speedily; for Demas forsook me, having loved this present age, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens, to Galatia; Titus, to Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Taking Mark, bring him with you; for he is useful to me for ministering.read more.
But Tychicus I sent to Ephesus. The cloak which I left in Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring, and the books, especially the parchments.
Remember the prisoners, as bound with them; those ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.
Do not forget to show love for strangers; for thereby some entertained angels unawares.
