Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

And to man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like to thee.

There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who else can hasten to it more than I? But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy great people?

Yes, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth to counsel is wise.

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well-advised is wisdom.

Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear towards me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even an astonishing work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but to us who are saved, it is the power of God. And the prince of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your provision and your drink: for why should he see your faces more meager than the children who are of your sort? then will ye make me endanger my head to the king. read more.

So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children who ate the portion of the king's provision. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their food, and the wine that they should drink, and gave them pulse. As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold? and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver?

For whoever findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor from the LORD.

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

Labor not to be rich: cease from thy own wisdom.

Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the well-spring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall in them.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshiped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented to him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being warned by God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thy hand, set magistrates and judges, who may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.

And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats' hair.

And account that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, hath written to you;

And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart excited him to come to the work to do it:
