'Acted' in the Bible

They took their stand against King Uzziah and said, “Uzziah, you have no right to offer incense to the Lord—only the consecrated priests, the descendants of Aaron, have the right to offer incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have acted unfaithfully! You will not receive honor from the Lord God.”

And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that his father Uzziah had done; only he entered not into the temple of Jehovah. And the people still acted corruptly.

For Yahweh subdued Judah for the sake of Ahaz, king of Israel, for he created disorder in Judah and acted unfaithfully against Yahweh.

For our ancestors acted unfaithfully and did evil in the sight of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him and turned away their faces from the dwelling place of Yahweh. {They have turned their backs} [on it].

We have prepared and consecrated all the items that King Ahaz removed during his reign when he acted unfaithfully. They are in front of the altar of the Lord."

Do not be like your fathers and like your brothers, who acted unfaithfully before Yahweh, the God of their ancestors, so that he made them as a desolation, as you see.

Hezekiah did this throughout all of Judah, and he acted well, doing what the LORD his God considered to be right and true.

You are righteous concerning all that has come on us,because You have acted faithfully,while we have acted wickedly.

The matter seemed appropriate to the king and the officials. So the king acted on the advice of Memucan.

Let the young woman whom the king finds most attractive become queen in place of Vashti." This seemed like a good idea to the king, so he acted accordingly.

But my brothers have acted treacherously like a cascading river, like torrential rivers that overflow.

Therefore, they became unclean because of what they did; they have acted like whores by their evil deeds.

They acted like fools in their rebellious ways, and suffered because of their sins.
