- To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the programme, a minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters, attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent and there should be no disciplinary action against the student.

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 10+2/Class 12th or in equivalent examination with English subject (at least 45% marks, in case of Reserved Class category candidate belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Minimum 50% aggregate score in 3-year Diploma from any Govt approved Institution or equivalent with English as a subject.
The selection process is based on 12th aggregate marks and a Statement of Purpose (500 words) written by the student for eligible candidates.

Multifarious Higher Studies Opportunities: Students of Political Science with minor in Election studies and Management/Political Economy at MIT-WPU can graduate to further higher studies either within the Political Science domain or outside, especially in the domain of Law, Public Policy, Development Studies, Financial Management, International Trade, Policy Studies, Administration, and the Media and Communications.
- University Initiatives : Various events at MIT-WPU, especially National Conferences like the National Legislator’s Conference-Bharat, the Social Leadership Development Program (SLDP), the Research, Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship (RIDE) Conference, the Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (BCS), National Conference on Media and Journalism (NCMJ), National Teacher’s Conference (NTC), and many more such events provide critical exposure to the students in tackling various problems of society in a confident manner.
