Acadia shavings are an item used in the creation of the masterwork bow. Level 110 Fletching and the completion of the achievement Fletch Quest are required to create the shavings. One acadia log creates 1 shaving; 100 of each of the acadia, mahogany, yew, magic, elder, and eternal magic shavings are combined with a soft wood block to make a composite wood block. Two composite wood blocks (200 shavings) are needed to create a masterwork bow.
