A bird's nest (cheap seeds) can be obtained by trading mole claws and mole skins with Wyson the gardener. One nest is received for each claw or skin. The modified farmer's hat can also provide two or four bird's nests per day.

Unlike the nests with seeds obtained from exchanging mole noses or received from other sources, these have a different drop table from the other variant of bird's nest with seeds.

They can be searched to obtain an empty bird's nest and a random seed, removing this item in the process. Using the "search-all" option searches all types of bird's nests in the player's backpack in a quick succession.

Obtaining nests

The most widely known method of obtaining a bird's nest with this selection of seeds is by killing the giant mole. This always give a mole claw and three mole skins. The other method is through the modified farmer's hat, which can hand out two (four if the full outfit is obtained) nests a day.
