The butterfly legs are an item that could be obtained during the Tribute to Guthix event. It is one of the free cosmetic rewards that were available from Memstix, and is part of the Butterfly Outfit along with the Butterfly mask and Butterfly top. Wearing this item alongside the butterfly mask and top increased the chances of catching a Guthixian butterfly during the event.

It became available again during the 2019 Easter event from the druids standing next to Tribute stone that has appeared next to Falador Lodestone, and could be purchased from Thaerisk Cemphier during the 2021 Easter event.

The butterfly outfit set can also be stored in the toy box of a Player-Owned House.

It has appeared in the seasonally available The Grand Eggs-change in the Blooming Burrow for 1,000 spring tokens.
