Slayer Wildcards are items used in Slayer. It is a possible reward from Treasure Hunter. While carried, the next monster killed that qualifies for some Slayer assignment (while not your current Slayer assignment) will grant its regular Slayer experience, and count as being on-task for any drop chance increases or on-task only drops. Each applicable monster killed consumes a wildcard.

A selection of monsters have specific wildcards available. These specific wildcards grant 75% of the normal Slayer experience of the monster, and only apply to specific Slayer assignments, but otherwise function in the same way. See Slayer wildcards (disambiguation) for details.

Uses[edit | edit source]

This article has a calculator for an overview of usage and profits here.
Calculators determine experience and costs based on real-time prices from the Grand Exchange Market Watch.

The following use case scenarios assume that the player is carrying Slayer Wildcards.

Enabled effects
  • Enables chance at obtaining the Crabbe pet.
  • Increased chance of certain unique drops when slaying certain monsters, as if killed on a Slayer assignment.
  • Enables drops that can only drop while on an assignment to drop, such as Raptor key parts.
  • Enables skipping the access requirement of restricted Slayer areas to kill monsters that can only be accessed while on-task.
  • Enables Tuska's Wrath empowered damage on any non-boss Slayer target.
  • Enables the tier 3 Guardhouse in Fort Forinthry to apply its execute chance to eligible ultimate abilities on any non-boss Slayer target, despite not being on-task.
Disabled effects
  • The accuracy and damage increase from any variants of the slayer helmets are not applied.
  • The damage increase from the Guardhouse is not applied.
  • Hetite stone will not appear.
  • If player's last Slayer assignment came from The Raptor and they currently have no task, or the player has a current Slayer assignment from The Raptor, it will allow them to receive bone fragments from all Slayer monsters The Raptor can assign. It is currently unknown if this is intentional or not.
Unknown if enabled
  • Unknown if the ushabti soul capture chance is affected (before level 120 Slayer).
  • Unknown if the Guardhouse affects ushabti soul capture chance.
  • Unknown if the elite monster spawn rate is increased to match on-task rates.
  • Unknown if the Guardhouse applies its elite monster spawn rate increase.
