The strange key teeth is half of a mysterious key found inside of Movario's base during the While Guthix Sleeps quest. The key halves are found in a bed chest on the top level. The players must first go down a set of stairs before reaching the old battered door to the spiral staircase inside to level 2. The second stairs is revealed by placing the ruby key into the keyhole in the side of the bookcase in the northwest corner of level 2.

When strange key teeth is used on a mithril dragon with the strange key loop in the backpack, it will fuse to form the dragonkin key. Players need to engage the dragon by attacking it once for this to work.
