On-loan Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has revealed the crucial role his Old Trafford team-mates played in his move to Sevilla

The 20-year-old completed a switch to the LaLiga outfit on Monday, with an option to make the deal permanent at a cost of £17.5million.

The Tunisia international, who found starts hard to come by under Erik ten Hag, attracted interest from other clubs but ultimately chose the Spanish side because of the atmosphere at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium

United suffered a bruising 3-0 defeat to Sevilla in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals last season and that experience clearly stuck with a few of the roster, who talked up the raucous crowd.

'I wasn't involved, but I watched the games and I could see the quality in the club.' He said. 'I could see the fans. When they played at Sevilla, it was crazy.

'They told me the atmosphere was really crazy. It's always nice to play for a team who have good and crazy fans because it helps you when you are in difficult moments.
