HBO has revealed some programming updates on Tuesday, including when fans could expect Season 3 of The White Lotus and Euphoria, plus a Game of Thrones prequel.
The first of these shows to debut will be The White Lotus, with HBO revealing at a media conference that Season 3 will debut in February 2025, via Variety.
The cable channel had previously revealed a Spring 2025 date for the highly-anticipated second season of The Last of Us, though no specific date was given.
Warner Bros. Discovery global streaming chief JB Perrette revealed the news, also announcing the Game of Thrones prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is set for summer 2025, though Variety indicated it's being eyed for late 2025.
Another highly-anticipated return - Season 3 of Euphoria - is now being eyed for a 2026 launch, though no specifics were given.
Perrette also indicated that the network's highly-anticipated Harry Potter TV series will also be delayed.

The network was previously eyeing a 2026 launch, though Perrette said they are currently in the casting stage for Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, so now they expect the series to debut in 2027.
'As you look at ’26 and into ’27, you begin a 10-year journey on the ‘Harry Potter’ series, which we’re super excited about. And I’d argue, may be the biggest event by the time we get to that series,' Perrette said of the Harry Potter show.
The streaming chief also indicated the Max service will start cracking down on password sharing later this month.
He said it would start with, 'some very early, gentle messaging,' but would ultimately ramp up from there.
'This is an art and a science of trying to figure out who is actually sharing versus who may be actually at their vacation home or on a business trip, and so it’s an art and a science,” Perrette said.
'We will offer a way to essentially add a member, starting in the first quarter. We will then start gradually as we get the data and start figuring out, with some explicit and implicit signals, how good we are at detecting. And then as we go through ’25, you’re going to see the filters get tighter and tighter,' he said.
He also indicated that a price bump would be coming in the future, though didn't indicate when that may happen.
Max pricing is currently at $9.99 a month with ads, $16.99 for its ad-free tier and $20.99 for the “ultimate” ad-free version.

'Obviously, we continue to be a driver of price. Naturally, with Max and with HBO as a content category and a brand, we want to be at the premium end of the pricing. And so we want to continue to push price as we go as well,' he said.

Euphoria - starring two-time Emmy winner Zendaya - was renewed for a third season back in February 2022, though production has been delayed for the last few years.
