Francesca then used a Chanel eyebrow pencil to focus on that area, to which her father said, 'Oh? That's for eyebrows? See what you can do with your eyebrow. Oh look, she's darkening them.'

He added: 'I don't know if she needs to do that ... how much makeup do you really need?'

Scorsese - the brain behind a number of jaw-dropping sequences in his cinematic career - appeared dismayed in one instance in which Francesca used an eyelash curler.

He said: 'Ah, my God, she's taking her eye out! Oh my God, stop that, oh my God.'

One TikTok follower joked in the comment section: 'Not him being terrified of the eyelash curler,' while another said, 'I'm dying at Martin Scorsese being disturbed by a eyelash curler.'

Francesca was seated alongside her dad as he gave his two cents on the clip, saying that the regimen depicted in the clip was a routine one: 'This is what I do everyday.'

She said, 'You told me I did too much,' to which he said, 'Yeah, that is too much, I'm afraid.'

The clip ended with Scorsese declaring, 'You kids are crazy. I swear.'

Scorsese told the Los Angeles Times last year that he has been 'tricked into' appearing in some of Francesca's TikTok clips.

'That was a trick,' Scorsese said. 'I didn’t know those things go viral. They say "viral." I didn’t know ... that I didn’t know was going to go up. I was just doing it in the other room with her. I don’t know what they’re going to do.

Scorsese said that Francesca has gotten him to unwittingly participate in the format's movie bracket challenge, settling on Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey as a favorite selection.

'They always have those iPhone cameras in their hands. You’re not aware. I honestly did not know she was going to post it … they use the words "post it," right?'
