Footage of an Aussie superstar as a very young man resurfaced on Tuesday.

The video of the music star was shared to the National Film and Sound Archive's Instagram account.

The clip featured the singer's second appearance on a 1983 episode of Jimmy Hannan's Have A Go Show.

In a white and green satin ensemble, the budding pop star sang Dancin' the Night Away.

In his first appearance, the young man received a withering critique from Bernard King.

On this second appearance, the catty talent judge gave the musician a backhanded compliment, praising his talent but warning him not to fall into the ‘mediocrity of country music.’

That's right - it's Keith Urban!

The Blue Ain't Your Colour singer, 57, released his twelfth studio album, called High, in September.

'Playing guitar, writing songs and the place where I always feel high – playing live. Every night I get a chance to bring an energy and a release to people,' he said on Audacy country radio stations on Monday.

Keith and wife Nicole Kidman are said to be considering a move back to their native Australia following a very difficult year.

The actress, 57, recently suffered a personal tragedy after the death of her beloved mother Janelle in September, which saw her return to Sydney for the funeral.

Amid the very difficult time, Nicole had a very busy schedule jetting around America promoting her latest movies and filming yet another project.

Her loved ones are said to be worried about Nicole suffering from a 'burnout' and the Big Little Lies star and Keith are now reportedly considering returning to Australia.

'Nicole and Keith have had their worst year ever, they've barely spent any time together and she's been on her own throughout some of her most distressing times,' a source told Woman's Day.

'The big worry on everyone's minds is, how much more of this can she take?'

Country singer Keith is said to be considering stepping back from touring to support Nicole after his 10-date Las Vegas residency comes to an end in February.
