She went on to star in the Final Destination and Resident Evil franchises, as well as comedy classics like Legally Blonde as well as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Now the actress is once again steaming up the screens in Paramount's new series Landman.
During a recent episode, the 48-year-old bared her breasts in a racy bedroom scene in alongside ex-husband Tommy, played by Billy Bob Thornton.
In the scene, Ali, who plays the role of Angela, stripped down to a lace G-string as she sat on top of Tommy while he lay on a bed.
Her bare chest was on full display as she pulled her denim top off and kissed him.
The pair then embraced one another as they continued turning up the heat before laying in the bed together.
Landman centres around Tommy Norris (Thornton) - a rugged executive from M-Tex Oil company in Texas.
The premiere starts with a tied-up Tommy wearing a bag over his head while discussing a lease with a cartel member.

He survives the intense exchange and continues to work under businessman Monty Miller (Jon Hamm) while balancing relationships with ex-wife Angela (Larter) and children Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) and oil field worker Cooper (Jacob Lofland).
The series is co-created by the man behind the Yellowstone universe, Sheridan, 53, and podcaster Christian Wallace.
Landman, like Yellowstone, is set in the present day and is inspired by the popular podcast Boomtown, which chronicled a 21st century oil boom in western Texas.
The logline describes it as 'an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fuelling a boom so big, it's reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.'
