Rachel Brosnahan shines in a brilliant blue gown as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel takes home Best Comedy Ensemble at the SAG Awards

  • Tony Shalhoub also won, for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series
  • Brosnahan attended the starry event with her husband, actor Jason Ralph
  • She and costar Alex Borstein both lost the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor award to Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Fleabag

She has won the hearts of Amazon viewers everywhere as a gifted and determined housewife with a knack for stand up comedy.

And Rachel Brosnahan was honored along with her brilliant cast in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel at the SAG Awards on Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

There, the Amazon show's actors beat out category favorite Fleabag for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Brosnahan, 29, was beautiful in blue at the high profile awards event, where she donned a electric blue spaghetti strap gown that featured three bejeweled chains that hung fetchingly off her shoulders and draped over her bust line.

Rachel eschewed most jewelry save for dangly Forevermark diamond earrings and a few rings. Her hair meanwhile was styled in a 'soft, deconstructed wave' by celebrity stylist Owen Gould.

The beauty pro revealed that he used John Frieda products to prep Rachel's damp locks, kicking off with the Frizz Ease Original Six Effects Hair Serum to ensure that the hair remained sleek and shiny throughout the evening.

Once the hair was dry, Owen turned to the John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch Up Crème, before misting Rachel's locks with the brand's Frizz Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray for a long-lasting hold.

Meanwhile her nails were perfectly manicured by pro Sarah Chue, who said of the nude look she created for Rachel: 'Rachel's vibrant, royal blue dress is accompanied by a neutral, Essie manicure.

'Sometimes the best pop of color is a nude one – which is why I chose this warm, milky nude from the Essie Gel Couture Timeless Tweeds collection. It really just melts the whole look together.'

Her husband Jason Ralph, famous for starring in The Magicians and Younger, complemented his stunning wife in a classic tux.

While the entire cast of Maisel was honored with a SAG trophy, along with Tony Shalhoub's individual win for his performance as curmudgeonly father Abe Weissman, Rachel and her brilliant costar Alex Borstein fell short of winning the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.

Triumphant: Rachel and costar Alex Borstein joined Tony Shalhoub, who enjoyed an individual SAG win for his performance as curmudgeonly father Abe Weissman

While they were competing with each other, Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge ultimately clinched the honor.

And when Borstein did take the stage for Maisel's Best Ensemble win, she couldn't stop mentioning how much she loved Fleabag and how sure she was that it would be the show to win that category.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel dropped its third season on the Amazon Prime viewing platform in early December of last year.

On deck: Up next for Rachel are two feature films - Ironbark, a period spy caper also starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and the drama I'm Your Woman
