Eve Brown is a certified hot mess. No matter how hard she strives to do right, her life always goes horribly wrong. So she’s given up trying. But when her personal brand of chaos ruins an expensive wedding (someone had to liberate those poor doves), her parents draw the line. It's time for Eve to grow up and prove herself—even though she's not entirely sure how…
Jacob Wayne is in control. Always. The bed and breakfast owner’s on a mission to dominate the hospitality industry and he expects nothing less than perfection. So when a purple-haired tornado of a woman turns up out of the blue to interview for his open chef position, he tells her the brutal truth: not a chance in hell. Then she hits him with her car—supposedly by accident. Yeah, right.
Now his arm is broken, his B&B is understaffed, and the dangerously unpredictable Eve is fluttering around, trying to help. Before long, she’s infiltrated his work, his kitchen—and his spare bedroom. Jacob hates everything about it. Or rather, he should. Sunny, chaotic Eve is his natural-born nemesis, but the longer these two enemies spend in close quarters, the more their animosity turns into something else. Like Eve, the heat between them is impossible to ignore... and it’s melting Jacob’s frosty exterior.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book so much. I have never felt so seen in my life. It was so cute and funny. I love stories about Black women that aren’t solely about race. Black women being happy, loved, figuring life out. I saw so little of these types of stories growing up that I’m absolutely giddy when I can consume them now. My favorite of the series will always be Get a Life, Chloe Brown, but this gives me all the feels too. I hope the author never stops telling intelligent, sweet stories about Black women. We need it ❤️

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a my first Talia Hibbert book and WAO what an amazing ride! I found myself Laughing out loud and grinning like an idiot! Falling in love with Jacob the same way Eve was falling in love with him.. there were no dull characters or skipping chapters or wishing it would speed up for me, it was amazing… the way the author managed to speak on the beauty of being different with such ease … I usually, without meaning to, find myself choosing between the female and male MC but not with this book… I couldn’t do it.. if you’re not yet sold on this book, let me be blunt about it, Go read it or listen to it !

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Ahh. I loved Eve so much. I think the second book is still my favorite, but they are all amazing. I especially liked the realizations Eve comes to about herself. Jacob was a fun love interest, and this had a lot of the tropes I'm there for, and plenty of steam.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Talia Hibbert saved the best for last. Amazing wonderful, like a romcom I could watch over and over again, I will be reading The Brown Sisters trilogy over and over again!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was exactly what I needed as a palette cleanser! Very good writing, 21st century issues, and a beautiful romance. The way each of Hibbert's book in this trilogy regard mental health seriously is so amazing. Hibbert doesn't shy away from hard topics that make the reader question what stereotypes they've brought into the book. After reading this, I couldn't wait to pick up Chloe and Dani's books!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5There was a moment early on when I thought I wouldn't like this book, and it made me so sad. And angry because Jacob was a total dick. But somehow, he won me over. Eve and Jacob and the cutest, awkward, sweethearts, and I loved going on their journies with them. Now excuse me while I check out the author's entire backlist!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Still superior
Still a favorite
Still incredibly sweet
Okay there was one scene that almost took me out since it was unneeded but thankfully was quickly handled

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/54.5⭐️. And so it ends. I haven’t enjoyed a trilogy as much as I have The Brown Sisters. Each sequel got better and better. I love Eve’s playlist!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I enjoyed this conclusion to the Brown sisters novels. I can't decide which couple was my favourite.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5don’t mind me im just sobbing violently in my bedroom
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved everything about this story. I laughed so much throughout it. Eve and Jacob are both a mess. I'm so glad they found each other. Jacob's dominance in the bedroom took me by surprise. I love a quiet man who is not quiet in the bedroom. It was fun seeing the other sisters again too. So sad it's over, will be revisiting the Brown Sisters in the future.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely splendid book, might just be my favourite out of the three
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Talia’s books are a joy to read. The Brown sisters were fun and relatable characters. I enjoyed reading this last book in the trilogy. This book made me laugh, and swept me away in a beautiful romance. I loved it!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The Epilogue is missing from this audio book. But other then that it's good.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Talia hasn't let me down yet! I loved this story. In all her books I feel like her characters are real people. And thats a wonderful gift.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was so adorable. It feels bittersweet to say goodbye to the Brown sisters' stories. I JUST WANT MORE HILARIOUS AND SASSY BANTERS BETWEEN THESE COUPLES, THOSE SWOONY AND STEAMY MOMENTS ?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book! And great narration! Well done! Looking forward to a next one!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I adore the relationships Talia Hibbert builds in her books. They are so real, so sweet. I really liked Eve's character - she's my favorite Brown sister - and I found this book less predictable, which also made it more enjoyable. This is a great romance series, I really would recommend!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed this book, thoroughly. And even though I want to say that this is my favorite installment in the Brown Sisters series, I can’t because I loved TAHDB just as much.
If you’ve read the older books in the series, then you know that Talia Hibbert will always find a way to sneak in serious issues without making it seem like a big deal and without downplaying the reality of the subject matter. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This has to be my favorite of the brown sisters series and I loved how the author chose not to bring up the current pandemic and how she wrote about autism awareness
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I’m in a different state of cuteness right now. My heart feels like it’s been lifted by clouds and my? is so pleased with me, too.
