After learning of Harper's devastating secret, Eric is devastated himself. Still reeling from it, he saves her from a hired gun. Safe - for now - this pair has to work together to figure out who exactly wants them dead and to see past all of the Kingston lies.

The Bastard - Eric holds this title as a shield, hiding behind it, using it to excuse his actions and behaviors. He may be the 'bastard' son of the Kingston family, but he is no bastard. This man is so honorable and noble and caring. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and he's willing to do whatever it takes to protect his friends and the woman he loves. But can he resist falling in to old habits when it comes to his family?

The Princess - Harper wants to be everything that Eric needs. She wants to be part of everything he does. She wants to help take down whoever's after them and see that justice is served. It doesn't matter that she isn't equipped to take on killers. It doesn't matter that she is surrounded my marines and feds. Who cares that Eric is a total genius? She knows better than them. She can protect herself better than they can. I'm honestly wondering if she realizes she has no identity outside of the Kingstons. That without Eric, she has no purpose. Can you tell that she annoyed me?

Aside from wishing that this was told entirely from Eric's perspective, hating Harper, and finding out that it's a filthy trilogy and not a filthy duet, I'm totally on board to discover all of this story's hidden truths and find out what's really going on. LRJ has the amazing ability to completely hold me captive to her stories and keep me guessing and I love it. With one heck of a cliffhanger, where Harper is once again questioning Eric, I'm really looking forward to how this author will close out this couple's saga.

Ever since the first book ended on that huge cliffhanger I have been anxious to get this book into my hands. I HAD to know what would happen next and no, it was not what I expected. This whole book has not been what I expected and that is why I'm loving it so much.

There is so much happening and I don't know which was is up. It feels like it's Harper and Eric against the world but that's not really true. They have the Walker Brother's security on their side. They have Grayson and Mia on their side. I even think there may be some members of the Kingston family on their side but I have no clue who. I keep bouncing back and forth on that issue.

I'm not more wiser after the end of this book and once again I am anxious for the next in the series. This author really knows how to dangle that carrot in front of a reader. Another awesome book in the Dirty Rich series!

OMG seriously? Another cliffhanger. Grrrr
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to say that I have a few mixed feelings about this book. I love the plot and I love that we get to spend time with Eric, Grayson, and the Walker Brothers.
But there are things that bug me about the story.
One of the first things is the amount of conversation. The back-and-forth and rehashing the same points over and over again by Eric and Harper just got to me. It bogged down the story and it just got to be too much in some areas.
It seemed like the same points and the same arguments continued through most of the story. There were highlights of activity, moving the plot forward, but then they would be back to the same old stuff.
Plus, Harper bothered me a lot in this story. She kept secrets and was constantly bugging and interrupting Eric while getting in the middle of trying to deal with the family and solving the major problems.
I still love Eric in this sequel. Just like in The Bastard, everything he does he does for her. She is the only thing he thinks about. He is full of passion and just can’t live without her. He is all in and it shows.
She is not quite as focused as he is. She mainly thinks about her mother and then Eric secondary. But I know she does love him. But as a character, Eric definitely won my heart. He is all consuming, hot, and definitely sexy. The steam and passion between the two is hot and heavy and gives this story a big impact.
While we still don’t come to a conclusion with this book as the author decided it needed a third story, and since I’m so invested in this series, definitely looking for a big bang to happen in the conclusion.
Overall, The Princess is a solid story with some quirks, some great secondary characters, and several suspenseful twists that keep you on your toes. Another sexy, strong, memorable story from the Queen of romantic suspense and a trilogy that sucks you in.
We all remember Eric from Grayson's books. BUT The Bastard & The Princess & The Empire can be read as a complete standalone trilogy - but I suggest you read the Dirty Rich series in the right order - all very adorable and sexy and exciting books! ☺
We're back with Harper and Eric right the second Harper was checking for clues at the warehouse and the lights went out and she was grabbed from behind!!!
Eric needs to get Harper out of the city - he needs to get her to New York and safety. They still don't know who his father and brother have sinister business dealings with and it's getting really dangerous - deadly even!
Off to NYC we go ....
═════════════════
description
Well, that was again verrry sexy and a little bit exciting and mysterious and adorable!
We want book #3 asap to see what the hell is happening here - who are the bad people?? What/who is behind everything! Gimme book #3 now!!! ☺
I really like this story and all the people in it - especially all those Walker security guys!
And we see a bit more about Eric - we go back a few times to when he was a teenager.
But ... the book - like with many of Lisa's books - was just too long. It wasn't even a long book - without all unnecessary pages it would've been only 50 pages long! There are too many too long passages of words. I wanted more action. More new stuff. They keep on repeating every little detail a million times ... like who doesn't trust whom and who has secrets. He has them, then she has new secrets and then suddenly he has some again but she still didn't tell him everything. Jeez. I wanted to DNF at least 5 times while reading this book. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for too much back and forth today, but I just couldn't love this book. Almost nothing happens! The fifty pages of 'happenings' in this book could've been put into the 3rd book, meaning we wouldn't have needed 3 books in total at all in the first place. No idea what happened here with Lisa and her writing, but 80% of the book was not needed to tell the story. I hope book #3 will be more exciting and suspensy. I don't expect it to be, but it will definitely have the end to all the mystery and suspense - so I really want to read it!
THE PRINCESS was a very sexy mystery suspense romance!
Run to your nearest amazon for your own Eric - this one is MINE!!!☺
ARC received for an honest review
This follows on right where the previous book ended.
But for me, this time, I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it.
Harper and Eric's story was like watching an action movie. There was just no stopping from the first word to the last.
However, I felt that this time there was just to much happening, but not much going on at the same time, if that makes any sense?
It was lots of trust me, don't do that, don't go there. I felt there was too much of the same old same ol going around in circles before we got to the point. It felt a bit padded out, and that perhaps books 2 and 3 could have been one book - but this could just be me. I found myself skipping great big passages of the book to get to the next stage.
I like where Harper and Eric's story is going, I loved getting more Grayson and Mia, and I am looking forward to seeing where this story goes.
But this one was a bit of a miss for me.
This one picks up right at the end of the first one.
More family drama after the end of the first one. He, of course, saves her, but from who...we still don't know. A lot less sex in this one with a bunch more angst and drama....and then another blankity-blank cliffy
How is this considered a duet (look at the cover of this book and the previous) when there's a cliffy, again...curious minds want to know
Okay, first, I had no idea this was going to be a trilogy so when I hit the cliffy on this one I just about lost it. And not just because I’ve got to wait for the next book, but because we had just been invited into a scene that I thought for sure was going to help end the battle between Eric and the Kingstons. Instead, there are even more unanswered questions. Gah! I need to know, and I need to know now!
This is another wild ride of questions and few answers, intrigue, drama and mystery. We’ve pretty much gained no ground other than the development of the relationship between Eric and Harper. They appear to be moving pretty strong dispite a few bumps along the road but this ending may blow everything to smithereens.
This has a slow pace with some repetitive musings, but it’s filled with so much heat and passion along with the suspense and mystery that I didn’t mind. I cannot wait for the next book!
Well, the Bastard proved that he was anything but at the beginning of this story. Unfortunately, there is something he's keeping from Harper and we have no idea what it could be.
The Bastard continues with The Princess. The intrigue, distrust, secrets and lies continue. Only now we are in New York instead of Denver. The plot thickens and, at this point, it could be just about anyone trying to silence Eric and Harper. Regrettably, we still don't know who it is. Honestly, I really have no idea who it can be or why.
But, this is Lisa Renee Jones were talking about here. This is what she does. She draws her readers in and she keeps them captive until she decides that it's time to let them in on all the secrets. She writes plots that have so many likely suspects that you aren't sure who it could be or why. She has you asking more questions when the original ones haven't yet been answered. I dubbed her “the queen of romantic suspense” for a reason and she is totally living up to that title.
I can't wait to read The Empire. As usual, The Princess ended with one hell of a cliff-hanger and the sooner I find out who is doing what and why, the better.
Secrets overflow between Eric and Harper, and while Eric was broken by the secret revealed to him he still rushed to the princess' side when a hired gun threatened her life. In a new city, the two are safe for the moment, but the threat and the secrets loom over them. Just as they begin to work together to protect themselves and others another secret threatens to tear them down.
" Kissing her matters. Touching her matters. I'll make her tell me everything and then the secrets won't matter anymore either."
Disclaimer, Lisa Renee Jones is moving us from duet territory into a trilogy, meaning The Princess is very much so a middle novel. This isn't a bad thing, at least not in my eyes, but it isn't want readers expected from the story. Do we get some answers? Absolutely. However, we get even more questions and like every LRJ novel I love, we get even more tension and suspense.
"He promised. And promises don't lie."
In The Bastard we got to know Eric, we learn about what drives him, what he's for, what he's against. In The Princess we see the story unfold from his and Harper's perspective, though the location has changed and the severity of the threat has multiplied. They have a dynamic relationship, the only constants being their lust and desire, no need, for one another. The secrets, the things they know, and the things they think they know, however, truly lead this story in a unique direction. Where there is fear and uncertainty about their safety, there is also a high-stakes push and pull between them. For me, this is my only complaint about the novel, because even as readers we never get any security in the couple we are meant to be rooting for and it brings the tension down a notch as the pacing of the novel does follow their lengthy dialogue. There are too many questions, too many unknowns, and yet I do so love them together.
"Power. It's always been about power."
The Filthy Trilogy takes us on a journey of trust, power, and the ties that bind. No one is safe in this dangerous cast of family members, each climbing to a differently perceived "top." LRJ continues to perfect the balance of suspense and romance, giving readers the angst we love between couples and the strain of relationships between wealthy, corrupt family members. In The Filthy Trilogy we mix business with pleasure.
The Princess by Lisa Renee Jones is book 2 in the Filthy Duet / Series. This continues the story of Harper and Eric, so you should really read the previous book "The Bastard" first to fully enjoy their story here.
OMG I have been waiting for this book. I had to know what is going on with Eric and Harper and this did not disappoint! It kept me turning pages after pages wanting more...and Ms. Jones even has added to their story but adding an additional book called "THE EMPIRE"...now I need that book ASAP.
The Princess is the second in the trilogy that we have here, and this story in “The Bastard” does end in a bit of a cliffhanger of sorts. Its more like a unrevealed secret that the heroine was keeping from the hero, although not intentionally I don’t think. What we see is a traumatic event that happened to Harper, one in which Eric had no clue in and where his horrid brother was there for her when he wasn’t. I will admit that even though the ending of “The Bastard” wasn’t enough of a cliffhanger to have me picking up this book immediately, I definitely wanted to see how this reveal would turn out for our hero and heroine and I actually liked seeing how it ended up being beneficial to their relationship.
“Caring about someone is a weakness,” he says, echoing my thoughts from moments before. “It opens you up to pain and hurt. We just choose to make it worth the risk. And you are.”
Because they learn the value that the past lessons define them and seeing them learn to accept each other’s mistakes and learn to move on into a place that worked for both Eric and Harper was truly wondrous to see. We, of course, also get a more build up of the overall plot which I had a fun time seeing as it thickened on the essence of the mystery of the story as a whole. It was also interesting to see Eric’s group of friends and their unconditional and unwavering support of him. The romance that we have between Eric and Harper definitely deepens on a level that I respected so deeply. Definitely had a blast with this second installment.
I quite enjoyed The Bastard, the first instalment of this trilogy, so I was eagerly awaiting the moment when the second book arrived on my Kindle. I was disappointed.
The Princess picks up right after the cliffhanger that ended the story in the Bastard. You need to have read the Bastard, otherwise this story won't make sense.
Eric, having seen the error of his ways, has returned to save Harper in the warehouse, just in time. This is the first part of the story I didn't like; he stormed out at the end of the Bastard (which I think he shouldn't have), but for him to show up like some sort of Deus ex Machina to save Harper didn't sit well with me. I would've liked for Harper to save herself for a change.
One of my main issues with the Bastard was that Harper and Eric kept running in circles: telling each other they trust each other, but even so, still withholding important information from each other. It got old in the first book, but it got really old in the second book. I would've liked to see some character growth in both Harper and Eric, but I felt there was none. I honestly felt those two people have no busy being together, and considering the fact that it's a romance, that's a problem. They should've learned something from everything they've went through in the first book, but alas, they didn't. Add in the flashbacks that felt just like unnecessary fluff to me and it adds up to me flicking through the pages to the point where something interesting happened.
What I did like was the suspense portion of the story, but there just wasn't enough there to keep the story interesting and admittedly, at the end of the story, as a reader you don't know much more at the beginning of the story than you do at the end.
This book ends with a cliffhanger, again revolving around Eric and Harper keeping secrets from another. After having read this, I really felt this should've just been a duet, rather than a trilogy. The story felt just too drawn out; part of it might also be because from the beginning of the Bastard (after Eric and Harper’s initial meeting six years ago) until the end of The Princess only four or five days have passed at the most.
Having said all that, I'm interested to find out the 'whodunnit' and 'whydunnit' from this story, but as far as Eric and Harper are concerned, I can't say I'm invested in their relationship.
The Princess begins mere seconds after the heart-pounding ending of The Bastard.
The mystery lingers throughout—one I’m still interested in solving—but a great deal of repetition also persists. In an ideal world, The Princess would tie up all the loose ends and be the end of this series. Even with the threats and danger, there doesn’t seem to be enough substance to accommodate a trilogy. It feels like the author is stretching out the storyline, causing it to drag. I’m in it for the long haul now, but hopefully the pace will pick up with the conclusion.
I received a free copy of this book from the author.
The Princess is the second book in the Filthy trilogy.  You must read  The Bastard first before reading The Princess.
Harper and Eric's story continues as we follow them to New York. Though not even NY is safe for them at this point.  Whatever is happening with Eric's family is coming after them whether they can stop it or not is something else all together.
Not only do they have to worry about the evil family machinations they're trying to rebuild their relationship as well.  After many years a part they finally get a second chance.  Though both hold secrets close to them that will effect the other it's a question if they'll be able to sustain a future together.
There's a few parts in this particular novel that drove me crazy while reading.  I do enjoy their story, though, and I'm looking forward to the conclusion.
Love Eric & Harper story, he's a bastard but savant, genius and self made billionaire, he left his fathers grasp which was an empire also Kingston Motors. He left The Princess behind also because she was part of their world especially after he saw his father give her a kiss to the temple like a Princess deserved.
The story doesn't end that way Eric couldn't get Harper and their passion to leave the more he tried the more he wanted her, that was until the day she The Princess showed up in his office at Bennett in NYC. Now the secrets, lies and puzzle in his head will need to be solved. Will Eric ever trust Harper will they share their secrets or will they bury them with their bond they share that Kingston Motors have as well.
I fairly enjoyed the first book in this trilogy - The Bastard. Eric and Harper had chemistry filled with fire and passion and the plot kept me intrigued enough with all of the secrets to want to continue on with the second book in the Filthy Trilogy.
The Princess picks up right where the last book left off with Eric immediately returning to Harper after he stormed off having heard some upsetting news that Harper had kept from him, which luckily he came back just in time when Harper finds herself in some trouble.
If you’ve read my review from the first book, which you can find HERE, I mentioned that around 40% I started getting annoyed with the character dialogue on how they kept constantly repeating themselves about what they wanted and their trust issues, etc. Unfortunately, everything that annoyed me from the first book seemed to be the running theme throughout the entirety of this book.
description
There was sooooo much character dialogue. I want to say about 85-90% of this book was nothing but conversation where they talked in circles around each other with very little action. And with this much dialogue, it was exhaustingly repetitious with none of it really moving the plot forward. They just kept beating the same points over each other's head and making the same arguments over and over again… and it was mainly Harper doing all the harping - LOL, get it?
description
Harper really aggravated me in this book. Everything was all about her… what she thought was best, what she wanted and how she wanted things to play out. It didn’t matter that there were actual professionals and a genius (Eric) involved in figuring out who was trying to trying to set them up and murder them… she thought she knew better than everyone and stubbornly refused to listen to anyone, even though she didn't have a leg to stand on half the time. Also, she still had trust issues with Eric, and yet she’s still keeping secrets?!
description
I really hate that I disliked Harper’s character so much because I still really loved Eric. He was sexy, loyal, fierce, protective, not to mention smart and all-consuming… pretty much everything I love in an alpha.
I also hate that I have to review this book with any negativity, but I have to be honest when saying that this book was barely 3 stars for me. I felt like over half of it was unnecessary filler and the storyline could’ve been condensed into about 50 pages and added to the next book to make it a duet instead of a trilogy. With that being said, I think this story does have an engaging plot and the mystery and suspense of the “whodunnit” is enough to make me want to read the last book. And there are plenty of 5 star reviews so it could just be a case of "its not you, it's me"... but I’ve gotten this far, might as well keep going!
She needs a hero. He's determined to be so much more. Will the heartache in their past, prove deadly to their future? The Princess finds Harper and Eric smack dab in the middle of a dangerous situation. Trust is a commodity they can't afford and the stakes are getting ever higher. The choices they make next can have far reaching implications. Eric is hard to like, but impossible not to love. For him the world begins and ends with Harper. Harper tends to be a tad naive when it comes to the people she loves and that trait could cost her more than she dreamed possible. With thrilling twists, seductive romance and constant drama, Jones definitely knows how to keep readers coming back for more.
The second book in the Filthy Trilogy - Eric and Harper's story continues... This second book just continues with the endless repetitive conversations, I got really sick of hearing the words, savant, genius, naked and together, the story line got caught in an endless jumbled up mess but the sex was hot at least on with book number 3.
I was really excited about reading where Eric and Harper's story would take them after reading The Bastard, but I just don't think that this book has given me anything other than a prolonged dragged out story that changed from being a duet into a trilogy with no valid reason. This book was just too much of going back and forth over nothing in particular and of Eric saying do you trust me and Harper saying the same thing over and over again. There was far too much sex as well just to fill up the pages. It became a little boring and I found myself skipping over the pages just to get to some actual story. I will probably read the last book in this series just to see who is the mastermind behind it all as i've invested time in reading these books. Disappointed in what started out as an interesting series.
"This is our time, but that doesn't mean that we'll end up together. What is meant to be might be the end of us, and that thought has me throwing caution to the wind."
The Bastard and the Princess are about to do me in. The secrets and suspense are escalating and the answers are few and far between. Just as I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel a train starts heading my way and it's dark again. I want to throw my Kindle, but I need it to finish this nerve-wracking mind-bending story. Did I mention that I'm loving it? It's no secret that the author likes to mess with her reader's heads with twists and turns and surprises that keep us coming back again and again.
The connection between Eric and Harper is undeniable. But they are keeping secrets from each other as they try to determine who can be trusted while attempting to stay alive. Danger is on the horizon and its true victim is not exactly clear. The clues are not crystal and the villain has not identified him or herself. They want to trust each other, but they've both been betrayed too many times to go in blindly.
One thing that is crystal clear is the passion that blazes between them. Their minds might question but their bodies have all the answers. "If you want to forbid me, do it while you're naked. I'll listen a whole lot better."
Yes, I knew going in that this was a trilogy, so of course it ends with a cliffhanger. I crack myself up every time I go in knowing this and still manage a WTF? face when I tap the last page to turn it and there are no more pages to turn. Of course, I have to try several times, just to make sure. Oh well, I needed a potty break anyway. This damn story had me so riveted I refused to put it down. I'll be here, ready and waiting for the time I can get my grabby hands on The Empire which is the final book in the Filthy Trilogy. The line forms here...
So many questions that I need answers too! I don’t want to have to wait for book 3, The Empire. When I first found out that this duet was changing to a trilogy, I have to admit, I was a little wary. Now, after reading book 2, I am so happy that it is. We get one more book full of Eric and Harper and I’m here for it!
There was so much going on in this book but we are left with still so many loose ends. It’s driving me nuts trying to figure out who is behind everything going on. I was looking for clues the entire time, and even started thinking back to the first book to see if there was anything that might give me an idea to the culprit. I still can’t figure it out.
I love how Lisa creates these mysteries and suspenseful stories and I know the conclusion to this one is going to be fantastic and all loose ends will be tied up. I’m waiting very impatiently for the conclusion to Eric and Harper’s story!
Note: This is book 2 in the Filthy Trilogy and the first book must be read before this one. However, this trilogy is also part of the Dirty Rich series but can be read independently from that. I do recommend you go back and read those books because you will get introduced to Eric and learn more about a lot of the secondary characters in these books.
Wow! There’s no lagging behind allowed when we pick right up and we’re off full throttle with The Princess. Harper and Eric are enjoying their relationship, but the trust is still fairly new and they’re still learning. The families are not helping, in fact their ties are causing some very dangerous situations for them, their relationship is in constant turmoil and knowing who to trust is getting harder.
I was enthralled, the story kept me thoroughly intrigued even though not much was achieved in the plot, it didn’t move on much, but plenty seemed to be happening.
Harper and Eric had time to heat the sheets a time or two - or three, but who’s counting. And there was plenty of nail biting tension with help from the Walker Brothers security and some buddies, Savage being my favourite, a laugh a minute guy but hard as nails when needed. An exciting read, the angst and drama was intense, the writing was phenomenal.
Desperately need the final instalment now, The Empire. I can’t wait.
Reviewed on behalf of http://bookaddict.live,
Lisa has done it again left me all worked up with no where to go until Empire. The Princess started where The Bastard finished, straight into to danger and action from the start.
We find out some more of whats happening and who’s behind all the attacks we still aren’t sure. The love and affection heat up between Eric and Harper, high octane all the way.
We all know Lisa writes strong women and big sexy alpha’s that fall hard for their woman. The sex was super-hot between the two when they finally get to Eric’s home. They both fall much deeper for each other.
There is so much going on I had to read through the night and couldn’t put it down. So again, I feel cut off and having withdrawal symptoms until Empire in March.
Yet again this author has given the readers a series full of mystery and intrique. I thought i knew where it was going but of course I was wrong.
We ended book one on the the mother of all cliffhangers. Thankfully we weren't kept guessing as we pick up the characters exactly where we left them. Plotting this series must be a nightmare because there are more twists and surprises than I could count.
I'd love to be able to say that I've got it figured out but that would be a big lie. One thing I do know the last book is going to be epic.
4.5 Stars
Suspenseful from start to finish and in true Lisa Renee Jones fashion I was left on the edge of my seat until the conclusion.
I’ve said it time and again. Lisa Renee Jones is a true wordsmith when it comes to keeping you at the edge of your seat. With The Princess, the story of Eric and Harper picks up the moment from where The Bastard left off. And I’m telling you, book took takes off at a full sprint. Im talking secrets, more suspense, questions of betrayal. This book had everything to keep me guessing as well as interested in every moment that was transpiring.
I devoured this book as quickly as I could only to regret that I now have to wait for the conclusion. BUT, their story is TOTALLY worth the wait.
ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 23, 2019
He's the bastard of the empire, a savant, a genius, and a self-made success. He left it all behind, but he came back for her.
Their passion is a flame that ignites more than their bond. It ignites secrets, lies, and a puzzle that once solved, will shake them to the core.
You know one deep, dark secret, but you do not yet know anywhere near everything.
••••••••••
REVIEW: 4.5 stars--THE PRINCESS is the second instalment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary, adult FILTHY TRILOGY erotic, romance series focusing on billionaire/Navy SEAL and second in command to Grayson Bennett, Eric Mitchell, and heiress Harper Evans. Eric was first introduced in the author’s DIRTY RICH BETRAYAL (Dirty Rich #4) but you do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the story. As per most of Lisa’s series, there is a slight cross-over with inclusion of some of the characters from the author’s Walker Security series including Blake Walker, Savage and Adam. THE PRINCESS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately following the events of book one THE BASTARD.
SOME BACKGROUND: Six years earlier, Eric Mitchell, the bastard son of Kingston Motors CEO Jeff Kingston met his father’s new step-daughter Harper Evans, a woman Eric dubbed The Princess, but a woman that stirred something deep within our story line hero. A one-night stand followed by the realization of who and what Harper Evans represented further pushed Eric away from his birth right, as the spare to the heir of Kingston Motors. Fast forward to present day wherein Harper Evans is in desperate need of Eric’s help, help Eric isn’t willing to give without a price.
NOTE: The Filthy Trilogy was intended to be a duet but the author has decided that Eric and Harper’s story line requires further attention.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Harper and Eric) THE PRINCESS continues to focus on the building relationship between Eric Mitchell and Harper Evans, a relationship that is threatened from an outside source. An attack against Harper finds Eric upping the security around the woman with whom he is falling in love but in doing so finds himself in a vulnerable position for attack, as well. Not knowing who to trust, Eric and Harper must venture forth to New York, with the suspicion that everyone is suspect including family and friends. What ensues are Eric and Harper’s fight for their safety, as Eric struggles to stay one step-ahead of the person(s) trying to destroy their lives.
The relationship between Eric and Harper continues to evolve; an erotic romance wherein Erin battles demons from the past, ongoing rejection, and a fight to prove he is worthy of love. Harper struggles with her mother’s choices, choices that have affected our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The world building remains focused on the bitter relationship between Eric Mitchell, and the family that has rejected him most of his life. As the bastard son of billionaire businessman Jeff Kingston, Eric has battled father and son in an attempt to avenge the treatment of his mother, a woman who died too young, and alone.
THE PRINCESS is a story of fractured family dynamics, family dynamics that continue to spiral out of control. No one is safe; everyone is suspect as one by one, members of the Mitchell/Kingston family are targeted in a powerful game with an unknown opponent. Secrets are slowly revealed, secrets that will affect our story line couple. The character driven premise is intriguing, exciting and realistic; the characters are strong, colorful and dynamic; the romance is passionate, moving and provocative. THE PRINCESS ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
