Very refreshing read. It has been a very long time since I read about someone who isn't a God in bed and can't give a women orgasm with a flick of a finger.
It felt more realistic and I felt way more involved with the characters. Loved their connection and I loved that there was no insta love but their connection and attraction had time to develop.
What I did love was the Hyde story-line but otherwise I was a bit disappointed.

I haven't read this author's books in a while and I remember that I enjoyed her writing while I was reading 'marked men' series, but in this book I had quite a few problems with it. The inner monologues were way too long and far too descriptive. I skimmed a lot because I was just a bit bored reading how they feel about each other but aren't doing anything about it. Also, after something happened we got to read the same event in both POV which brought a lot of repetition to the story.
Hated that there was insta love instead of developed connection. It would have been easy to develop a connection in their setting, Zeb was fixing Sayers house, but instead author skipped the 'making her dream house' part and just told about the insta lust. Disappointing again.
I enjoyed seeing glimpses of marked men gang and I really enjoyed parts with Zeb and Hyde or Hyde and Sayer <33
I am not sure I will be continuing with the series though, maybe, maybe not. ...more
Really enjoyed this book, it was so much different from the usual insta-love or I-cant-keep-my-eyes-off-her books.

♥Loved that the first time the two main characters met they didn't even like each other. ♥Their banters were so much fun. ♥Liked the hidden agendas on both sides. ♥Hero and heroine were both so lovable. Mitchell (Wall Street) of course a bit more lovable <3 ♥Secondary characters were awesome too! ♥And in the end I definitely felt their heartache.
I wish there was an epilogue, I really wanted one, but I am glad I will get to see them in other books in this series. Why haven't I picked these up earlier? ...more
