"I'ts easier to cope when you don't acknowledge what you're coping from."
Twenty eight year old Thursday Ellington thought her life was perfect with her loving husband Seth. She met Seth four years ago and fell madly in love with him. Her love had no boundaries that she even agreed to an arrangement where she becomes another wife as long as she was the legal main wife.
"As humans we want to be heard, and so when someone does the hearing, we feel a connection to them."
Soon she realizes that she just couldn't share Seth anymore, she decides to dig deeper into her husband's two other wives and his whereabouts. Thursday truly started doubting her sanity being second best, she wanted to be the only one, she thought she could do it, be a good wife and share her husband but she was wrong.
"What happened to me? How have I become this docile person, living for Thursdays and the love of a man who divides himself so thinly among three women?"
I just couldn't helped but love everything about this story, I understood why Thursday would feel the way she did. All the events in the story kept getting better and better and some where just mind blowing. Thursday was a human who I felt was broken, loving someone so much and not being the number one in his life made her do so many things she didn't think possible. But also lead to so many other secrets that I truly didn't see coming.
"I feel better knowing I'm not alone, that the whole world is as fragile and lonely as I am."
The Wives is a total page turner physiological thriller that had me glued to the pages from the beginning. The plot twist was shocking and unexpected, I honestly did not see it coming but I must said I loved it. The ending left me speechless and one hundredth percent satisfied. Readers looking for their next thriller story, look no more this book has it all you will not be disappoint.
❝Those that are of great value are also at great risk.❞
The story opens up with a very intriguing scene and instantly I was addicted to the story line. We meet Dagmar; a keeper of the land who has been entrusted to protect his nephew Bayr. Dagmar finds himself in a rough situation but managed to learn how to raise this book and soon he finds that he cannot live without him.
I absolutely loved the relationship between Dagmar and Bayr; I thought it was so sweet and it melt my heart to seem the both of them together. When Bayr was forced to protect the princess Alba it was hard for the both of them but soon Bayr learned how to love Alba like his.
I found myself enjoying every single character in this story. Ghost in particular was such a fascinating character that shocked everyone with her choices. The town of Saylok has been cursed and no one knew it, no one was able to have baby girls only boys after so many years that became a problem and people were showing their true intentions. The keeper so Saylok knew they had to do something to protect their city.
THE FIRST GIRL CHILD is such an incredible tale of sacrifice and survival at its best; a tale about a boy who will do anything to protect the first girl child even against his king. A mother who will become a ghost to make sure her child is protected and a brother who will do whatever it takes to protect his nephew. As a parent you connect with all these characters trying to protect their children. The author gives us a unique story where power is everything and survival is all everyone know. I highly recommend this story to readers searching for an unforgettable fantasy book.

❝I wasn't afraid of dying. I was afraid of dying without living.❞

Moti Ferreira lived her life pleasing others. She always did what was expected of her. Moti's entire family took off on a cruise for her cousin's wedding in Greek. Her entire life she has been told by her mother who her soulmate would be so when by chance she meets this person she was determined that he was her future because that's all she knew.
❝When you've been looked over your whole life, it's starling to find yourself in someone's eyes, to be held in their vision, the same way they hold sunsets and beautiful things.❞
I honestly did not expected to find this book to be so funny but the more I read; page after page I couldn't helped the giggles and the laughter. I utterly enjoy Moti's character and her thought process. Her comments made me laugh so hard so many times. Her entire family was peculiar and interesting. I found myself devouring this book as fast as I could because it was so good and I just couldn't get enough.
❝"And you? I assume, are trying to swim?" He squatted beside the pool and motioned to my neck float. I didn't feel like explaining myself to a guy who had nicer hair than me.❞
We meet Alex who stole my heart and tummy right away with his fascinating cooking skills. He was such a wonderful character and made the story more interesting; the chemistry between him and Moti were on point and I had all the butterflies every time they were together. Alex was the chef assigned to the boat for the cousin's wedding. He made the trip for everyone much enjoyable. With a big family and a lot of characters this book delivers such a unique and fascinating story. There was a scene that it caught me by surprise, I was not expecting it and it made it for an unforgettable story.
❝Gravity seized to exist when I was with him...The past blurred, the future evaporated. The place we intersected was all that we had, and it was magical.❞
Moti On The Wateris such a wonderful summer story about family, love and finding your own path. I absolutely loved everything about it. The characters were interesting and hilarious, the story was different and refreshing! I laughed so much on several occasions is definitely light but yet satisfying. Readers looking for a fun, light, and yet hilarious summer story will find this book appealing.

❝ Envy is the art of taking on another's blessing instead of your own.❞

Sebastian Westbrookgrew up in a family without wealth; he knew how awful it was to live with no money. After his parents died his life changed dramatically; he now had everything money could buy except what he desired the most. His uncle wanted to use him but Sebastian didn't see it that way, he knew this opportunity was one of a lifetime and he was going to prove his uncle and everyone else what he was truly made of.
❝ It's funny how people think that unknown evils lurk at night, but it's the ones that blend in during the light of day you should really be worried about. Me.❞
This installment in the series is by far my favorite one yet; the story wasn’t repetitive and I find characters that have issues appealing because you don’t know what they’ll do next. Everything Envy did was so unpredictable which makes the story suspenseful and interesting. Envy to me was the strongest elite member so far who didn’t backed down for a challenge regardless of the consequences. I felt he was true to his character, he needed the elite and was bound to do whatever it took to be a part of it even if he loses his soul in the process.
❝ I was a rough kid trying to handle a fairy he only heard about in storybooks. The realization that I could be happy was blinding.❞
The book was full of surprises and socking events but yet exciting moments. Truly loved the darkness and crazies of this installment, not as sexy as the others but I didn’t feel it needed it. Overall, readers continuing this series who enjoy darker elements in stories will find this book appealing.

Rainey Day grew up in a bad household environment so surviving was all she ever knew. Not having good roll models as parents was not easy; she was always the lonesome child at school and she grew up accepting her faith.
❝ I was a survivor. I knew that and clung to the belief.❞
Justin Redding as a professional psychologist was assigned to get the truth out of Rainey. He was the most suited for the job and in his trade he was the best at it. When he meets Rainey he understood why he was the assigned person for this case. However; feeling so much for this victim wasn't something he thought was possible.
❝ This interview was dangerous...there was more to her than a simple, dim-witted girl who lived in a bad part of town.❞
This story was full of feels and emotions; I was mad, sad, anxious, shocked, angry and excited, I was a bit dramatic with the feels but whatever is exactly what I love about books like this. They make me feel everything, I even had few happy tears as well hahaha. My very first thought after I finished was I couldn’t stop reading I was glued to the pages and the twist in the story had me screening of excitement even though I kind of guessed it still felt amazing getting your wishes come true.
❝ His kiss was my absolution. His touch, a drug that I'd always understood I could never live without.❞
Overall, The Five is a story I highly recommend to readers who love stories about survival and sacrifices. It would appeal to readers who are open minded to appreciate characters that are not easily likable.
