❝Delivering pain is an expression of art...He had the capacity to hurt and love in equal intensities.❞

Kate has been trying to find herself after what she went through four years ago. However; she never anticipated finding herself in a similar situation a second time time around.
❝The only power she possessed here was that over her own emotions. She allowed Van to use her terror to control her and wouldn't make that mistake again.❞
Tiago Badell is the leader of an underground empire, he had been tested so many times and he has always come out wining. What he didn't expect what falling in love so hard he couldn't see straight.
❝ He would always protect her, however she needed him, even when he was the cause of her suffering.❞
I honestly didn't remember Tiago much since I tend to forget prior books often but the author did an amazing job bringing Tiago back to us and seriously making the readers love a villain who was hated badly in the previews books. I found myself fanning over this man and good god he was totally amazing. Every move he made was done with a purpose and I enjoyed every single second of it.
❝He was an aficionado of pain, and she was here to absorb the hurt, to wear the bruises of his art, until she escaped or died.❞
Take was truly an amazing story packed with so much action, suspense, so many great characters but also an incredible sexy steamy read that will have every reader fanning themselves and melting over the hot couple. The chemistry was on point, the plot was fantastic and oh my god some characters from previews series made an appearance and I was literally screaming of excitement haha. Overall, I highly recommend this story to readers who enjoy a great dark suspense story.

When I first heard the author was writing another book in the Jack and Jill series I was skeptical. However; this book was everything I wante5 Stars!!
When I first heard the author was writing another book in the Jack and Jill series I was skeptical. However; this book was everything I wanted and more. Is technically a standalone but I highly recommend reading the trilogy only because is the best series ever haha.
This book made me feel so much, the butterflies and heart palpitations were high and I loved everything about the story. The angst, the mystery behind Wylder, the chemistry between the couple was so good. I hated how needy Livy was at times but I loved her strength and how she broke through Wylders walls and don’t get me started when author brings Jackson and Jessica into the story.
This was practically me:

“Two Queens will rise. One of blood. One of light.”

Rielle Dardenne the promised Sun Queen was held capture by her father for protection until she reveal herself and now he couldn't do anything to protect her. Her forbidden love for Audric was so emotional and amazing at the same time.
I'll be honest I hated Rielle's father in the beginning, I hurt so much for her but the more I read; the more I understood why he did what he did.
“This is what I was made for. The thought arose as naturally as breathing. She flexed her fingers, felt power gathering hot in her palms. No, not hot - vital. Her power was not an intangible thing, a trick of the mind. It was the power of the world itself, and all that lived inside it. And only I, she thought, can tell it what to do.”

Eliana Ferracora was a bounty hunter; surviving the best as she can. She was thought by her mother how to become the best assassin there could be. And the best she was; she had to do whatever it took to survive and to keep her family safe even if that meant losing her soul.

“And I have a warrior's strength, she thought, but the heart of a coward.”

“Grief crashed upon her in waves. Dry-eyed, she let them pull her under. Remy said quietly, “I don't hate you,” and allowed her to hold on to him. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on only him.”
I loved Eliana and her inner thoughts to do the right thing but at the same time turn around and don't look back at things she had no control over. Her brother Remy was so darn cute I loved him so hard. The love between these two was so beautiful she would do anything to keep him safe.
Told from dual point of views between Rielle and Eliana hundreds of years apart. One is the Sun Queen while the other is the Blood Queen but which is which is the question. Their stories are sad, intense and suspenseful, I absolutely was drowned to both of them; by both of their pain and struggles. I can clearly, honestly say I ugly cried on a scene from both of their worlds 🙄 #whatever lol which made this book so much memorable and precious to me.
“We survived the end of the world, you and I, we’ll survive this too.”

Furybornis a unique story; a world filled with magic and mystery and I loved everything about it. I honestly can't hardly wait for more. The ending wasn't so bad of a cliffhanger that I must say I'm okay waiting but not for too long because I loved all these characters specially Simon; Remy; Audric; Navi; and Ludivine...Ok I loved them all hahaand I need to know what's going to happen to everyone. The story and plot itself was intriguing; there was so much action that had me invested on every single page. Readers who enjoy young adult fantasy with a fast past story will find this story appealing.
"I'm not afraid. Monsters aren't usually afraid of other monsters."
I did not expected this twisted mind games of a story. The author seriously had"I'm not afraid. Monsters aren't usually afraid of other monsters."
I did not expected this twisted mind games of a story. The author seriously had me hanging on a thread the entire time.
Now I feel empty, my heart is bleeding out for all these amazing characters. I don't feel any satisfaction in fact I feel is just so numb. So many questions and no answers and I need to know what's going to happen to all my babies ugh I feel so lost and have no idea how to get a hold of my self with all these emotions.
I was in rage at some scenes, I was utterly excited at others but I was completely sad for the end. I hated the end it was too short too blahhh and it left me just empty and not satisfied. I don't know how I will survive if book 8 takes another 2yrs to be release. This book was definitely the most suspenseful and twisted than the others, no happy fart rainbow unicorn for damn sure. I still liked it thought because I came to love each and every single one of the characters that I will die loving them. I just need answers.
