I enjoyed the throuple idea and the beginning was quite angsty with Caol and Beck being in love and having history but then Galen coming around.
I think the bond and throuple happened really fast and it’s throwing me off. Galen and Caol rut and then Galen and Beck bump into each other that night and Beck tells him he’s in love with Coal and they used to be lovers and then that next morning before the bonding swim Caol comes up with the throuple idea. Galen agrees to think about it but literally only for a few hours because they all do the bonding swim together and then Caol asks right after if he agrees to the throuple.
I get it, dated mates and stuff happen fast but it was fast fast.
I also felt as though the equality of the relationship (not taking into consideration their secondary genders) was skewed. Beck and Caol had a longer more intimate relationship and at times it felt like Beck was more a confidant and than Galen. But I still enjoyed the heck out of the story. ...more

In this book they are already together and have been for the past three years, two of those years have been long distance after Todd was traded. They know they love each other but Drew still isn’t out and their hockey schedules don’t always line up. This has put a strain on their relationship but hasn’t dampened their love. This book is all about navigating how to balance their careers and their personal life together.
I think it’s necessary to read the novella prequel, The Arrangement, before jumping into this one. If you go straight into this book, Todd and Drew are an already established closeted couple and have been for 3 years.
If you like these below then this book is for you.

While I enjoyed it mostly, it’s not my preferred type of book. I enjoy smuttier more descriptive scenes and a different approach to enemies to lovers.
Did the book have me smiling at times? Yes. But overall it wasn’t for me.
The main characters didn’t really divulge anything throughout the book and then bam end of the book they loved each other. There was three semi memorable scenes where they lowered their guard for the other, after 2 years of antagonizing each other, and now I’m supposed to believe you “have always loved each other”?!
The resolution of love and telling each other their backstories happened in the last 5% of the book!!! And it came out in such a sappy, toothache inducing way.
On top of that the sex scenes weren’t a fav, the first sexual encounter happened around 68% and I think there’s only 4ish scenes and one got interrupted. However, the scenes were kinda blah like.
Soooo for those who don’t care or don’t want descriptive scenes then this is a safe book.
All in all, im a big “feelings” person in the sense of rating by how a book left me feeling and as I write this I am still scowling at the way I am feeling. I have to go drown this out with something action-y, maybe Rogue will do. ...more

This story starts out with a bang (literally, hehe). By 5% I didn’t know what emotion was in the lead… confusion, outrage, turned on? But I knew for sure that these guys were toxic to each other, but it wasn’t always like that and I needed to know how that happened.
Their story was adorable at first and then slowly they started hurting each other (super jealous on both sides, one egging the other on to know that he was the center of someone’s focus, the other getting pretty aggressive). It’s bat shit crazy to say but you knew they loved each other though.
There was a separation (8 years) where they had no contact and one MC didn’t know where the other was or if he was alive. They grew as individuals but I still wish it was a smaller separation period because 8 years is A LOT especially since it has age gap too.
So overall I liked the book but still don’t know where to rate it....more

With this novella you should have at least read Ben’s story (book 2) in order to know Asher. He was introduced in Mave but he has more interactions with Ben and in Knox’s book!
In Ben’s book he and Deacon had broken up because he shifted and freaked Deacon out! So the novella tells you hot that transpired and how they came together from that!
What I LOVE is that Deacon comes across as the more dominant in the relationship, obviously not physically because wolf powers (duh) but Asher likes and allows Deacon to be the “dominant” but isn’t a pushover!! He lets Deke know this with his actions.
I really love the J/P of Deke and the steamy scenes once they finally come together!
All in all, it’s a great read to get more insight on the characters of the main books! ...more

There were definite times in This book that I wanted to throttle Shane! He came off very self-absorbed even though we could still tell that he loves Ilya but certain comments made me shake my head at him.
And Ilya totally stole The show in this book. He was going through a lot of things (depression, loneliness) but his devotion to Shane never wavered.
This is a must read to be able to see their HEA.
I took a start off because Although I enjoyed the book there were times that I put it down and didn’t have that urge to pick it up for a few days....more
