I really don't know how to review this one ... without reading other books in the series, I'd have to assume that the relationship is developed in folI really don't know how to review this one ... without reading other books in the series, I'd have to assume that the relationship is developed in following stories which makes me think this is more of a serial than a series ... this short only took me 15 minutes to read which really doesn't qualify as a first installment ... more like a first chapter ... the writing style was a little bit clunky and wooden ... I found the characters a bit two-dimensional and bland ... there were annoying contradictions; the biggest being that they apparently looked identical yet had vastly different builds O_o ... really? ... I'm not feeling compelled to continue reading the series/serial as I really wasn't engaged by what I've read so far....more

Having said that, if I were not in a hyperactivebunnyoncrack kind of mood, this would have been a wonderful read. Perhaps not as enjoyable as Crossing Borders (a favourite of mine) but a good, solid read none-the-less....more
