And the curtains are finally down… that's it. Catharine and Alex’s story is done, wrapped in a little box with perhaps one or two unfinished business in my mind, more so on Colonel Brooks who seems to get away with ‘murder’….well not literally but if you read book 3 you probably know what I’m talking about. No closure with the Father-daughter issue/dynamic. And still with the fade to black in the intimate scenes. Well, I guess we can’t have everything end nicely and in ways that we want.

Having said that, this was another great, enjoyable read and a wonderful series with plenty of angst in between which kept me on edge.
