The story revolves around Alexandra Montgomery, aka Sasha, a celebrity who is in her forties, and 30+ year old Dr. Morgan Kelly, who accompanies Alex on her tour due to Alex’s anxiety resulting from a horrific accident which led to the death of many of her band members - the same accident in Escape & Freedom. This is a standalone book, so if you haven't read E&F, that's fine. It's a good story, but just not for me this time around. Euphoria somehow fell flat for me; I didn't get that warm fuzzy feeling.

I shed far too many tears and had to stop several times to catch my breath. I'm not sure how to rate it, to be honest. On one hand, it is a heartwarming series with flawed characters who love each other deeply. On the other hand, it is devastatingly heartbreaking and not for the faint of heart.
Looking back on the series, though it pains me to finish the book, and as much as I'd like a once-in-a-lifetime happy ending, I have to admit that it's a beautifully written but heart-wrenching memoir. Kudos to the author for going where few have gone. For that...I give it a 5...more

Catharine and Alex’s story is done, wrapped in a little box with perhaps one or two unfinished business in my mind, more so on Colonel Brooks who seems to get away with ‘murder’….well not literally but if you read book 3 you probably know what I’m talking about. No closure with the Father-daughter issue/dynamic. And still with the fade to black in the intimate scenes. Well, I guess we can’t have everything end nicely and in ways that we want.
Having said that, this was another great, enjoyable read and a wonderful series with plenty of angst in between which kept me on edge.

It was a great read and I was completely engrossed in it. Having said that, I was really disappointed when Alex moved on to a different partner. It broke my heart to see Catharine go through that. While I appreciate the author's decision to fade to black on the intimate scenes between Catharine and Alex (which I’m not a fan of), I am glad that the intimate scenes between Alex and her new partner also fade to black. If they didn't, I would have just skipped those pages….cos that is how much I like Alex’s new relationship. ...more

And I sure as hell shouldn't have done that and should have just read it from the get-go cos now I realise that this is so up my alley and I can't get enough. I loved the dynamics between MCs, Catharine Cleveland and Alex Grey; all that pull-push factor, should I or shouldn't I?
Don't let me even start on the angst, the drama which can get intense… there was just a lot happening in TSW. Like really Alex, why Caleb? I mean I get the reasoning. Caleb seems pretty likeable initially but turns out to be an egotistical maniac and definitely not a likeable person over time. As for the Senator, well he is on another level of man-I-really-despised. At one point, I just wanted to throttle him cos what he did to Catharine was just so unforgivable. And Catharine, just leave the damn man already! You deserved so much more than him!
Can't wait to dive into book 2 and see what happens next. I'm really rooting for Catharine to come out on top and find the happiness she so deserves.

A novel that explores the significance of dreams in our lives. It also highlights the value of support and acceptance; not only by others but by oneself as well. Very low on angst and drama. ...more

No infidelity in the mix, but rather addiction was the main obstacle that caused Dex and Tracy to go their separate ways all those years ago.
But fate had other plans in store for them, and almost two decades later they found themselves face to face once again at their daughter's college graduation despite the wide berth, they gave each other.
What follows is a heartwarming tale of how two people finally found their way back to each other....more

I just don’t get it how Jamie can just pick herself up and leave Mac after a decade together with their future all planned, a future that she envisioned as well - cos she is in love with Cherry? Like WTF?? And she can’t even explain why she did what she did other than I loved Cherry. Boo-hoo.
And Mac…what can I say? 20 years is too long to not enjoy your life and have the life/family that you always wanted especially if you have the means to it. If Suzanne can do it alone, so can you. Too bad that you can only see the not-so-positive aspect of it though.
As much as I love a HEA, this is one HEA that I just don’t fancy. I didn’t enjoy the ride to the HEA. ...more

Age-gap, boss-employee relationship, celebrity romance featuring a celebrity who is not out of the closet just yet, and one with a frosty facade who just kept everyone at arm's length. This is so up my alley.... And the side story with the secondary characters (Sam, Xander) is just as good.
A wonderfully entertaining read.

A somewhat uncommon plot, to me at least, of finding love with your husband’s mistress… Veronica and Ally met under a bizarre circumstance where they both have a common interest - Gabe, Veronica’s husband & Ally’s fiancée. Sparks ignited as both Veronica and Ally spent time together trying to unravel Gabe’s infidelities. Though I must add that I somehow missed the lead-up to our two MCs developing their relationship - from not friends to friendly terms and eventual lovers. The transition to developing feelings for each other seemed abrupt which was my only qualm. All in all, this was an absolutely entertaining read....more
