I didn’t think it was possible for this to be worse than the first book… yet here we are

This book was a really bad uhhh unique retelling of Hansel and Gretel.
Hazel and Gray (WHO ARE NOT SIBLINGS!! I almost cried when they kissed thinking they were) get lost in the woods and find this big house that has a party, they go inside to find a phone to call help, but something sketchy is going on… 🤨

The ONLY reason I gave this a half star was the plot twist. IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD NGL.

hazel ~ dude who does this girl think she is? She cheated on her bf in front of him. This girl thinks she’s a girl boss fr, but she's not.
gray ~ bro thinks he’s kaz brekker smh. UGH HE ANNOYED ME SM ARGGGGGGG
them together ~ literally no one cares
What the heck was that plot? it could have been so good, but the execution was horrible. And there were so many inconsistencies and unanswered questions.
I don’t know what's wrong with this author to make her write what she wrote, but can someone check up on her? make sure her mental health is ok? Thanks <3
