Proposed Plan
Teach classes using innovative and research based practices in the area of reading
and writing with a specific emphasis on CCSS.
Serve as academic advisor for students in the Reading Specialty program.
Interview candidates for the Reading Specialty Program, and follow up on students
who drop out of the program.

Technology was integrated during the 2013-14 school year with my teaching and
with students, my goal is to continue to integrate and share technology tools in the
area of literacy with my teaching and with students.
Train and mentor adjuncts teaching literacy classes at LU, this includes the Reading
Specialty Program and IP program.

2015.
Collect and Analyze Data around the MNPS/LU Literacy Partnership
Submit one journal article for consideration. This submission will fulfill the Comp
exam requirements for PH. D.

literacy.

Review and develop the classes for the Reading Specialty program. Fully review
and develop the syllabi for every class. Create, define and update assignments,
including key assignments, for Reading Specialty classes and distribute to the
instructors. Keep matrices, syllabi charts and program goals up to date on the
shared drive. (Ongoing and continued process)
