Conferences Our Conference Day this year is scheduled for Friday, September 18. I am looking forward to meeting with each of you to discuss your childs adjustment to first grade. Today I am sending home a list of times from which you may choose. Please indicate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices; and I will schedule your conference time for you. Please keep in mind that these will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis; so please return your form as soon as possible.
Accelerated Reader
Your child does have access to AR
books in our classroom. These books may be read during any Read to Self time that your child has during class, and your child may also take one home to read at night. However, please keep in mind that your child will need to accept the responsibility of selecting and reading books and finding the time to take the tests. We will also be going to the computer lab each Tuesday so that students may take an AR test.

Lower School Night
Please keep in mind that Lower School Night at the varsity football game on the Cherry Road Campus will be Friday, September 11! This is a great time to create lasting memories for your child asthere will be lots of fun activities for our lower school students!
