    Dear Sir/Madam:
    My name is Heidi Bosmans. I am writing to express my interest in working as a Registered
    Nurse in your organization through the New Graduate RN Program. My expected graduation
    is on May 6th 2016, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South
    Florida. I have always loved working with children, and I believe my experience will help me
    to thrive and be a benefit to your organization.
    As indicated in my resume, I did my internship during my last semester on the inpatient
    Pediatric unit at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. This experience greatly expanded my clinical
    knowledge and provided me with a wide range of clinical experiences with patients ages
    newborn to twenty, who had a wide variety of diagnoses. I believe this intership gave me a
    great foundation for starting my nursing practice as I was able to care for, under the
    guidance of my preceptor, many children in varying states of acuity. During my internship
    my preceptor commended me on my motivation to learn as well as my assessment skills
    and promotion of patient safety.
    In addition to my nursing internship, I have also gained non-clinical pediatric experience
    through employment at preschools/daycares. At these jobs I cared for the basic needs of
    children ages three months to five years. I believe these experiences have helped me by
    making me comfortable communicating with both children and their families, as well as
    simply giving me a great deal of practice at meeting a child's basic needs such as feeding,
    changing, and comforting.
