recognized as equivalent to Ph.D* degree with 10 years of experience out
of which at least 5 years should be at a Senior Level comparable to that of
an Assistant Professor would also be eligible.
* Unanimously declared equivalent to Ph.D by a 3-member expert committee duly appointed by BOG/Senate/
Syndicate/Academic Council of the affiliating University.
Note1 : Those faculty members who have been continuously in teaching faculty since 1st January 1995 or earlier
may be given a waiver of first division at Bachelors or Masters level provided they have obtained a minimum
of 50% marks in their Bachelors degree. Such relaxation can be given once only for promotion and it will
cease to be valid beyond 31st December 2010.
