A. Introduction
Let us recall some parts of the story I Want to be All Grown-Up and guess who
said the following dialogues. Pay attention to your teacher as she reads several
dialogues.

I want to be all grown up!

There you are! Why didnt you tell anyone where you were leaving?

Dont you know theres a kumaw wandering around? It carries little children
away. Hell drain out all your blood and pour it on the bridges.

Dont pay any attention to them; its just their way of showing they love you
Come on, Ill buy you some ice cream.

I wish I didnt have brothers and sisters. So there would be no one to tease me
and order me around. But

Its nice being the youngest child after all! Its fun being a child!

B. Teaching/Modelling:

The cast we meet in the story are known as characters. The characters are just
like you who also have older and younger siblings. As you read, you find out their
unique personalities and differences. Moreover, how the characters behaves
and their experiences are important to help us to recognize them.

Being the youngest child mostly received a good treatment from his/her parents.
He/she must learn how to appreciate it and accept and understand the flaws of
his/her elder siblings. May be its their way of showing love and care for you.

C. Guided Practice:
Observe the pictures below. Identify what facial expressions are shown by
Buding in the pictures.

D. Independent Practice:
