Siu Lim Tao / Siu Nim Tao (Little Idea / Little Imagination):

Section 1:
• Attention stance
• Bring both fist to the side of the body at chest level
• Bend knees a little, spread feet sideward into a goat stance.
• Bring both palms to front in a crossed position with left on top of the right palm
with palms facing downward.
• Move crossed palms upward with left palm still on top and right palm in front
with palms tilted upward.
• Uncross the palms by returning the hands to the side of the body at chest level in a
fist form.

Section 2:
• Left fist punch forward, then left fist opens up to a palm up position (punch at
upper gate area).
• Rotate left palm clockwise and becoming a fist again and returning back to the
side of the body at chest level in a fist form.
• Right fist punch forward, then right fist opens up to a palm up position (punch at
upper gate area).
• Rotate right palm counterclockwise and becoming a fist again and returning back
to the side of the body at chest level in a fist form.

Section 3:
• Left palm up hand (tan sao) strikes forward at upper gate moving slowly, then left
palm up hand (tan sao) rotates clockwise and becomes a left guard hand (wu sao)
with a jerk and still extended in front of the body at centerline.
• Left guard hand (wu sao) moves back towards the body at chest level and
becoming a left fox paw hand (fook sao) which then moves forward away from
the body.
• Left fox paw hand (fook sao) extended and rotates the wrist clockwise and
becoming a left guard hand (wu sao) again with a jerk and still extended forward
away from the body.
• Left guard hand (wu sao) moves back towards the body at chest level and
becoming a left fox paw hand (fook sao) which then moves forward away from
the body.
• Left fox paw hand (fook sao) extended and rotates the wrist clockwise and
becoming a left guard hand (wu sao) again with a jerk and still extended forward
away from the body.
• Left guard hand (wu sao) moves back towards the body at chest level and
becoming a left fox paw hand (fook sao) which then moves forward away from
the body.
• Left fox paw hand (fook sao) extended and rotates the wrist clockwise and
becoming a left guard hand (wu sao) again with a jerk and still extended forward
away from the body.
• Left guard hand (wu sao) moves back towards the body at chest level and
becoming a left slapping hand (pak sao) striking the right side at chest level and
continuously becoming a left palm striking forward at the head area (upper gate).
• Left palm strike turns to left palm up position and then became a left circling hand
(huen sao) into a fist moving back to the side of the body at chest level.
• Repeat section 3 but using the right hand with the right circling hand (huen sao)
rotating in counterclockwise movements.
Section 4:
• Left palm strikes downward to the left side followed by right palm strike
downward to the right side. Note; both palms is now extended downward with the
movement done in slow motion and a jerk upon execution.
• With both palms extended downward move both palms back at the body’s rear at
waist level and then extends downward into a simultaneous downward palm strike
at the back.
• Pull both palms at chest level in front of the body with palms facing outward with
fingers pointing upward.
• Execute a double palm strike downward in front of the body (move slow with a
jerk motion).
• Move both arms horizontally in front of the body with both wrist at centerline and
left arm above right arm.
• Move both arms outward to the side striking sideward in a jerky motion.
• In an extended position, move both arms back to horizontal position with arms
parallel to each other from the tip of fingers to the elbow but with right arm on top
of left arm.
• Move both arms upward in a 90 degrees angle from the elbow with both arms
perpendicular to the ground with knife edge of palm facing forward.
• Double knife hand strikes forward and with a continuous motion become a double
palm up hand extended in front of the body at chest level.
• Double palm up hand become a double palm down hand after turning both palms
down with a little jerky motion and still in front of the body extended at chest
level with elbow bent.
• Execute a double palm strike (finger strike) to the head followed bya a double
palm strike downward in front in a vertical motion followed by a double upward
wrist strike at upper gate.
• From double upward wrist strike (crane fist), both hands moves downward back
to the side of the body at chest level.

Section 5:
• Left pak sao followed by left palm strike to the head then left palm up hand (tan
sao) then left circling hand (huen sao) then moves back to the side of the body at
chest level.
• Repeat section 5 but using the right hand instead.
Section 6:
• Left palm up strike (spear hand) to the head or neck followed by left hand
sweeping downward then followed by left tan sao then left huen sao followed by
left palm strike to the body then followed by left palm up hand raised at chest
level then followed by huen sao then fist moves back to the side of the body at
chest level.
• Repeat section 6 but using the right hand instead.

Section 7:
• Left high wing hand (bong sao) followed by left palm up hand followed by left
inverted palm up strike to the neck then followed by left circling hand then fist
moves back to the side of the body at chest level.
• Repeat section 7 but using the right hand instead.

Section 8:
• Left palm down strike followed by right scrapping hand then left scrapping hand
then right scrapping hand. Note; retraction is done by moving the fist to side of
the body after scrapping, and scrapping is done with palm up at first then moves
downward upon scrapping from inside elbow around ulna going to wrist area.
• Left punch to the head followed by right punch to the head, then left punch to the
head then left fist becomes left palm up hand then left huen sao then fist goes
back to the side of the body at chest level.
• Move left foot toward right foot at attention stance with both fist still on the side
of the body at chest level.
• Move fist down to an open hand.
