‘At the close of business on Monday, April 4, 2016, judge Melissa Blackburn stated that you could resign
or be terminated, and you elected to be terminated. Judge Blackburn terminated your employment due
‘to your deficient performance of your Job duties, including, but not limited to, falsifying your attendance
records,
Prior to your termination, Judge Melissa Blackburn asked the General Sessions Court Administration
Office to compile list of dates in which you were absent, for her to verify that you had been approved
for either sick or annual leave on those dates. Judge Blackburn informed this office that on the dates
listed below, you were absent the entire workday yet she had not approved you to take either sick or
‘annual leave on those dates.
Therefore, Judge Blackburn requested that these days be docked from your final pay check, These
twelve (12) days equate to ninety she (96) hours. As a result, our final paycheck dated April 15, 2016
will reflect earning 38.7 hours of pay at your regular hourly gross rate of pay.
