The teacher enumerates different exogenic processes. (The definition of
mass wasting, water cycle and sedimentary processes such as
weathering, erosion, deposition and transport should be posted on the
board).
2. The teacher should discuss thoroughly each exogenic processes by
giving a concrete example with pictures or video clips. (Make the
discussion engaging by asking students about their observation, news or
natural disaster related to the topics
within their community.)
Emphasize that the rain, blowing winds, river flowing, animal grazing and
alike contribute or agent in the degradation process of the rocks.
Explain why water cycle classified as one of exogenic process or ask the
students.
3. Describe how the rocks undergo weathering by physical or chemical
means. Give them a glimpse on the stability of minerals. Emphasize
that the least stable minerals are susceptible to weathering attack.
