Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)
First of all, I will tell them the title and the LO.
Then I will tell them the meaning of odd and even number.
Then I will tell them short story and I will ask some students to help me. I will ask 5 students to come
in front of the class, and I will give one of the students the apple basket (6 apples) and a card. The
first students will read the card (I have 6 apples and I want to give 3 of my friends) and he will give
the three students. Then I will say there is any extra apples? Is the students have the same numbers
of apples? So the number is even.
One of the students will have the banana basket (11 banana). Also, he will read a card (I have 11
banana and I want to give 3 of my friends). Then I will say there is any extra banana? Is the students

There is 3 levels
High level (A): I will give them cards with questions in (envelopes). There is around 10 to 12
question (one question in each card) each student will solve 2 question.
Middle level (B): I will give them 2 dice and one A3. Each student should throw the 2 dices and add
the two number. Then they will write the number on A3 and say If the total is odd or even. ( for
example, if the dice show 6 and 4 they will writ 6+4=10 even)
Low level (C ): I will give them one basket of leaves with number. Also, I will give them 2 tree ( one
even tree - one odd tree). Each students will read the number on the leave. if the number is odd
he will stick it in the odd tree and if even he will stick it in even tree.
