Console Repeater Adaptor Kit


As part of the commitment to the continuous enhancement of its products, Northrop
Grumman Sperry Marine is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Repeater
Adaptor Kit for retrofits.

When retrofitting a vessel, the new adapter kit will allow mounting of the new repeater type
5016 into the footprint of the outgoing repeater type 4881 which has been discontinued.

* Please note that the Repeater Adapter kit is only required when retrofitting a vessel where
the old console cut-out of the former repeater type 4881 is present.

What is the part number of the repeater Adaptor Kit?


The new adaptor kit part number for Baan is 025734

Are the adaptor Kits already available?


New adapter kits are stored in Holland and Germany and are available now.

Are the Kits being delivered together with the new repeater generation type 5016?
No. You will need to purchase the adaptor kit separately.

Do I need the Adaptor kit for installation of repeaters on Newbuilds?


No. The console cut-out for the new repeaters on new builds will be the correct size..
