letters

3.1.2 Recognise and sound out with support beginning, medial and final sounds in a
word
3.1.3 Blend phonemes (CVC, CCVC)

COM. CONTENT STANDARD 4.1 Form letters and words in neat legible print using cursive writing

i) Form upper and lower case letters of regular size and shape
ii) write letters and words in a straight line from left to right with regular spaces
between words and spaces
iii) copy letters and familiar high frequency words and phrases correctly

ACTIVITIES (Textbook page: 15)
1. Pupil listens to teacher’s explanation about today’s topic and the
correlation with lesson plan.
2. Teacher asks pupils to read table from page 14 and discuss their opinion
about the best gift to buy for Teacher’s day.
3. Pupils compare the prices, shop’s distance and the promotion available
for each item.
4. Pupils answer question based on the table given.
5. Teacher concludes today’s lesson and give homework.
