L6 Prob. of Comp. Events (Conditional Probability)
I. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the period 85% of the learners will be able to:
A. Identify conditional probabilities
B. Solve problems on conditional probabilities
C. Show teamwork and cooperation through active participation in the discussion and group activity.
B. Lesson Proper
The Teacher will group the students into 3 and ask 2 representatives from each
Group. The teacher shows and illustrates the FIRST problem to the representative
using the objects provided. The representative will then relay the problem to the
Group, and solve. Each problem is given only TWO MINUTES to solve. Another
problem will be given after 2 Minutes. There are TWO PROBLEMS to be given. The

c.) Which problem is difficult to solve? Why ?
The Teacher will explain that the second problem is an example of a CONDITIONAL
PROBABILITY. The conditional probability is then introduced.
