Transverse Moment Case

Congestion factor shall be considered only for 3 Lane carriageway. Design shall be checked with & without congestion factor.
Reduction factor for 3 Lane carriageway (table 8 of IRC 6) = 0.90
Congestion factor for 30m Span (Table 7 of IRC 6) = 1.15
* Transverse eccentrictiy shall be zero while considering congestion factor.
