The Division of Mechanical Engineering within the School of Engineering is seeking to appoint an
Associate Professor in Mechanics of Materials with a particular emphasis to the molecular modelling of
materials related to micro-machining and manufacturing with experience in their characterisation. The
School has an ambitious plan of growing its research from a strong basis that is ranked 25th nationally in
terms of research. Candidates with strong background expertise and potential in Mechanical and Materials
Engineering or relevant Science disciplines viz. Physics, Chemistry are encouraged to apply.
