Playing in front of people can be scary!

● Warm up for auditions


○ Play a scale in the key of the piece!!!
○ Your judges want you to succeed.
● Get rid of those nerves - can you ever?
○ Deep breaths (in four, hold, out eight)
○ Perform often- make yourself nervous before your audition
● Don’t try anything new on the day of the audition.
● If possible, know what’s on the rubric!
○ Rhythm is super important
● Be confident!
