    Efka® PB 2744

    general defoamer

     defoamer and de-aerator developed for a fast and effective de-


    aeration for high solid and solvent-free formulations (e.g. 2 Pack
    PUR compounds for flooring applications)
     excellent efficiency
     improves leveling and imparts surface smoothness
     excellent long term persistency

    chemical nature blend of foam destroying substances with silicone

    Properties

    physical form colorless to slightly yellowish, hazy liquid

    storage Efka PB 2744 should be stored in tightly closed containers and in a
    cool place. The packed product is not damaged by low temperatures.

    Application
    ®
    Efka PB 2744 is a ultra low VOC de-aerator, which has been designed
    to be used in pigmented and non-pigmented resin systems such as:

     solvent-free epoxy and polyurethane systems


     high solid two pack systems
     solvent-free radiation curable systems
    ®
    Efka PB 2744 is very effective in such systems against macro and
    micro-foam.

    recommended concentrations 0.2 – 1.5 % on total formulation


    ®
    Efka PB 2744 should be incorporated with higher shear forces, in order
    to ensure a uniform distribution in the coating.
