If
you
want,
quickly
go
through
the

and
identify
the
specific
negative
issue
and

positive
statement
in
each
affirmation.
Now
create
your
own
personal
affirmation,
using
whatever
language
you
feel
comfortable
with.

You
can
try
and
few
different
affirmations.
See
which
one
feels
the
most
natural
for
you.
Now
that
we
have
identified
our
issue,
given
it
a
rating,
and
created
an
affirmation
around
it
we
can
start
the
“Basic
Recipe”.
The
Basic
Recipe
1)
Setup
statement:
Repeat
your
affirmation
3
times
while
gently
tapping
on
the
Karate
chop
point
of
either
hand.
2)
The
Sequence:
Tap
5-‐7
times
on
each
of
the
points
in
the
order
shown.
While
tapping
say
aloud
a
short
“reminder
phrase”
at
each
point.
“This
(insert
your
issue
or
problem)”,
or
just
repeat
the
issue
that
you
identified,
“anxiety”.
At
the
end
of
a
sequence
wait
a
moment
and
asses
your
level
of
worry
again.
Place
it
on
a
scale
from
1-‐10.
Usually
takes
a
few
days
of
practice
to
decrease
on
this
scale.
3)
Repeat
as
necessary.
You
can
do
this
as
many
times
as
you
feel
you
need.
Each
point
may
be
tapped
on
either
side
or
both
sides
of
the
body
at
the
same
time,
which
ever
feels
right
to
you.
