(The teacher will discuss about the Three phases of matter
Let’s talk about the matter.
It is anything that occupies space and has mass/weight.
And all the things around us is a matter. Even the air we breath is also
a matter.

Matter has three phases these are Solid, liquid and gas.

SOLID
- It has a definite shape that occupy space.
- It can be held and seen
There’s a lot of solid in our environment like, stone, books, eraser,
chair, pencil, T.V., etc.

(Asks a pupils to give an example of solid)

The second phase is LIQUID

- It has no definite shape.
- Its flows freely and take the shape of container.
(Asks a pupils to give an example of liquid)
And the last phase is GAS
- It has no definite shape and volume.
- It can be spread out to occupy the available space.
- It cannot see but can we feel.6y
(Asks a pupils to give an example of gas)
After the activity, ask the following:

 Did you like our activity

 What is our lesson all about?

Write true or false on the space provided.

_____1. Solid has a definite shape.

_____2. Liquid to not flow freely.
_____3. The solid, liquid, and gas occupy the space.
_____4. Everything around us is a matter.
_____5. Gases have a definite shape.
D. ELABORATION Application: (charts)
A. Direction: Arranged the words by its categories.
