COURSE TITLE FUNDAMENTALS OF GAMES AND SPORTS

TIME DURATION 48 HOURS, 1ST SEMESTER
COURSE DESCRIPTION A two-unit course subject that deals on the concept of various sports and ga mes whether it is individual, dual or
team sports. This two-unit course subject will give opportunities to the students on how to perform sports program
which will enhance the curriculum for the purpose of developing higher level of cognitive, psychomotor and affective
learning to be effective and efficient learners in the maintenance of sports activities.

COURSE LEARNING At the end of the semester, the students should be able to:

BTVTEd OBJECTIVES The Donsol Community College commits to:
1. Ensure the knowledge of learners to allow creative, analytical, critical and innovative thinking.
2. Enable the learners to develop their fullest potentials for a continuing pursuit of self-education.
3. Enhance human development with their understanding and appreciation of human ideals and values, inspired
learners to reach greater heights of aspirations.
4. Provide globally competitive graduates imbued with proper work attitudes and values for the development of
the community.
5. Develop Nationally Certified (NC) trainers in their field of specialization.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND CLASS POLICY
Each Student is required to comply to the following:
1. Regular Attendance
2. Complete/Prescribed DCC Uniform
Course Requirements
3. Class Participation
4. Passing Scores in Quizzes, Term Exam and Practical Exam
5. Project/Research Work
Punctuality. A student will be marked as “late” if he/she enters the class 5 minutes after the indicated time.
Any student who comes to class 15 minutes after the scheduled time or always late for two consecutive
meetings shall be marked “absent”.
Missed Work or Exam. Any student who missed to submit work assignment, or to take a test should consult
the concerned instructor for immediate compliance.
Class Policy
Cheating and Plagiarism. Any student who committed any form of academic dishonesty shall be given
disciplinary action provided in the DCC Student’s Handbook.
Use of Technology. Cell phones should be turned off while the session is in progress. Using laptops, notebook,
PCs, smart phones, and tablets shall be prohibited unless the instructor is aware of the purpose and permits
student’s request.
