CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE RESEAR

1.1 Background of the research

cooperation is to outline it as a process of two or more people or organizations to complete a task

or achieve a goal. It can also be defined as two or more people working together to achieve
shared goals. collaboration tool: a technology tool that can be used to help people work together
to achieve a common goal or objective. The purpose of a collaboration tool is to support a group
of two or more people in achieving a common goal or objective. Collaboration tools can be non-
technical in nature, such as paper, charts, post-it notes, or whiteboards. They may also include
software tools and applications such as collaboration software.

Online collaboration tools are applications, software programs or platforms that help businesses
and their people streamline the design process and work together more effectively and
efficiently. Called team collaboration tools, they allow managers and employees to assign tasks,
update progress, report on results, and generally improve workflows and communication
internally and externally.

Accordingly, John Keel's Company conducts this expansion to see how the use of collaboration
tools can improve teamwork in an organization.

1.2 Background of the industry

The supermarket industry is the business of selling raw food and similar products in a retail
environment. Within this industry there are a number of different types of businesses, usually
consisting of markets and retail stores, which may consist of small operations or large
corporations. Many places. The supermarket industry can be considered part of the food service
industry, but it is often seen as a separate industry because supermarkets have a number of
different considerations than running a restaurant or similar establishment. Products offered by
supermarkets usually include raw food items, but prepared foods may also be sold. In many
ways, the modern supermarket industry has grown out of traditional markets.
These markets served as a gathering place for individual traders. Many of them were selling their
own goods. Such markets were often open-air establishments where people could check out the
variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish available from farmers, butchers, and fishmongers.
Many of these products are offered by the supermarket industry. Although the process of
acquiring and selling these goods has become more standardized, the supermarket industry is a
retail industry that sells goods, and these goods are not typically grown or manufactured by
businesses involved in operating supermarkets. (Wiesen,2016)

1.3. signification of Research

In a company Identifying the use of collaborative tools is the primary task of this research.
Therefore Colombo john keels has been selected by the researcher for this research. This scope
examines how collaboration tools are used and how it affects how companies use collaboration
tools to work with John Keel's company team on how to use collaboration tools to improve
teamwork in an organization. So how can collaboration tools help improve company teamwork?
How to use it? This research explores where it positively affects the company's employees. In
using the collaboration tool, the company has to face problems at various times. Accordingly, the
researcher uses this research to find the methods used to solve these problems. Company
employees use collaboration tools to influence teamwork and identify needed skills.

1.4 Scope of Research

The scope of a research clarifies the extent to which the research area will be explored in the
work and sets the parameters within which the study will operate. Accordingly, This project
explores how collaboration tools can improve John Keel's team performance The scope of a
research is John Keels, a Colombo based company, has been selected for this project. This
project deals with how teams of employees in the company use collaborative tools. The company
employs 1650 people and will test the functionality of these collaboration tools for each
employee. The sector chosen by the company to manage the time spent there and get information
easily. There are many functions of collaboration tools in conducting research, such as global
epidemics, culture and remote control, which led to the selection of collaboration tools for this
research. Thus, the use of collaboration tools for teamwork will benefit john keels company as
well as its employees. . It is a positive opportunity to improve the work of the company and save
resources as well as labor. From which the company will get additional benefits. Collaboration
Tool Researcher how this expansion affects company teamwork.

1.5 Research Problem

Every distributor works on a specific purpose. Therefore The purpose of doing this project is to
identify the effect of collaboration tools to improve team performance in the company, thus the
company employees may have problems using these collaboration tools for all of them. That is,
employees who have not used collaboration tools will face problems in developing this. It can be
difficult to access. When working in diverse groups involves using a collaboration tool and
sometimes a person using one tool may have problems using new tools or other tools.
Accordingly, this research has identified that the use of collaboration tools may lead the
company to certain problems.

1.6. research objective

There are objectives of doing this research study and their objectives are developed by according
to the which is developed to this study. There are things which are doing find through this
research. This research study is conducted to study how the succession plan affects collaboration
tools in the company using 03 main research objectives and these research objectives are
developed according to the conceptual model prepared for this research. studying These
objectives are useful for conducting this research by studying only the essential areas required
for conducting the research.

CHAPTER 2: LITRETURE REVIEW

A literature review is a part of the research report where the researcher analyses and discusses
published/scholarly information relating to the subject area under research. A literature review
surveys scholarly articles, books and other sources (e.g. dissertations, conference proceedings)
relevant to a particular issue, area of research, or theory by providing a description, summary,
and critical evaluation of each work. This project explores how to improve the performance of
John Kiel's team. This project explores how teams of company employees use collaboration
tools. During the expansion, the researcher has observed four research questions. That is, what is
the effect of collaboration tools on improving team work in the organization? What is the effect
of organization support of the collaboration tools on improving team work in the organization?
What is the effect of system quality support of the collaboration tools on improving team work in
the organization? What is the effect of quality of group factors of the collaboration tools on
improving team work in the organization? Questions are explored under For this, John Keels
company employees select a certain amount and collect data through this research question.
Among them this extension finds out how employees use group collaboration tools and stores
data about the problems they face.

The researcher has made this expansion based on the functioning of organizational support,
quality control, and group factors in the company.

organization

Organizational support: Organizational support for well-being is the extent to which an

organization provides resources, communication, reinforcement, and incentives to improve
employee well-being. When individual improvements or behavioural changes occur, the
"ecosystem" around that change must be supportive. Otherwise, change does not occur or is less
likely to be sustained. In the workplace, the organizational “ecosystem” needs to fully support
policies and practices, visible leadership and manager support, role models, wisdom and defaults
to improve well-being. Organizational support is critical because employees are in "reciprocal
exchange" relationships with their workplaces. Employees contribute their time and effort to
their workplaces, and in return they have certain expectations from their organizations, such as
salary and job security. When organizations rise to the challenge, employees recognize that their
employers can fulfil their obligations to them, and are more likely to remain committed to their
organizations.

System quality: A quality system is defined as the organizational structure, responsibilities,

processes, procedures and resources to implement quality management. Quality management
includes those aspects of the overall management function that determine and implement the
company's quality policy and quality objectives. Both quality control and quality assurance are
parts of quality management. (Res.,2011)

Group factors: Group factors-A quotient group or factor group is a mathematical group
obtained by aggregating similar elements of a larger group using an equivalence relation that
preserves some of the group structure. For example, the cyclic group of addition modulo n can be
obtained from the group of integers under addition by identifying elements that differ by a
multiple of n and defining a group structure that operates on each such class as a single entity. It
is part of the mathematical field known as group theory.

CHAPTER 3: RESEARCH METHOLOGY

3.1Research onion
The research onion, developed by Saunders and others, is an easy-to-understand diagram that
shows the various stages that a researcher must take into account, in order to develop an effective
research methodology (Saunders et al,2012).

 research Philosophy: Positivism, Interpretivism, Realism

 Research Approaches: Deductive, Inductive
 Research Strategies: Experiment, Survey, Case Study, Grounded Theory, Ethnography,
Observation, Action Research
 Time Horizons: Cross-sectional, Longitudinal,
 Data Collection Methods: Sampling, Secondary Data, Observation, Questionnaire.

Research philosophy for this research work will be based on interpretivism and qualitative
research. The research approach will follow more of a deductive approach where we will start
with a set of theories that are more general in nature, and then move towards understanding
specific areas based on the data collected (Saunders et al,2012). Basically. we will start with the
bigger picture and try to understand the specifics based on the data collected(mumbai,2021)
research philosophy-The tern research philosophy refers to a system of beliefs and assumptions
about the development of knowledge. Although this sound rather profound.it is precisely what
are doing when embarking on research. The goal of positivism is to produce general rules for
predicting behavior with minimal uncertainty. however, research based on a positive outlook is
based on a reduction theorem, where a number of theories for experiments with empirical
verification are generated. accordingly, positivism is not suitable for this project. Realism
reperch is very similar to positivism but it is an approach that takes into account the subjective
nature of research and the core functionality of its values, and therefor realism may not be
suitable for this research Intuitivism, also known as interpretivist involves resechers to interpret
elements of the study. Thus, interpretivism integrate human interest into a study accordingly the
researcher has chosen intuitivism for this research, which means that it will be more suitable for
this research than other philosophies.

Research approaches: Deductive and inductive are the two terms that the second layer of the
research onion includes. Here, the previous layer of the onion has an effect on this one so it is
important to know the research aim and its limitations. divided into two types, Decoctive
research approach, In deductive research approach. The relevance of hypotheses the study is the
main distinctive point between deductive approach test the validity of assumption in hand,
whereas inductive approach contributes to the emergence of new theories and generalizations,
abductive research on the other hand starts with surprising facts or puzzles and the research
process is devoted their explanation Alterative the induction approach does not include
assumption makin.it begins with research questions and the goals and objectives to be achieved
in the research process. Accordingly, the indicative approach is not suitable for this research and
the researcher will not select it. The dissertation will formulate a series of assumptions that must
be confirmed or refuted during the research process.in the reduction approach by adopting a
selective follow-up approach. Information can be assessed by developing assumptions that the
tested in the research process. Therefore, the researcher will choose the deductive approach for
this.

Research Strategies-Research strategy's the main comports of a research project are the research
topic area and focus, research perspective, research planning and research methods, primarily
research includes strategic case studies, qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys and action-
oriented research. Therefore action-oriented interviews are not suitable for this research due to
the time available. Research strategies include experimentation,

survey, case study and action research-based theory, ethnography and archive research. include
the caser study and survey will be selected by the researcher.research,,action research grounded
theory and ethnography are not selected because they are not suitable for this research the
researcher selects the case study, case studies usually involves a detailed study of an
event(individual or small group)different methods of data collection and analysis are used but
this usually include observations and may include consulting other individuals and personal or
public reports.therefor the researcher has selected the case study for this research which means
that it is suitable for reserch.surveys-surveys usually involve gathering information form people
through a questionnaires but other techniques, such as can also be used. This questionnaire
assesses the information through a select group of people, so the researcher will provide the
information needed for this research using the survey over time. therefor surveys are suitable.

Choice-Qualitative research is the process of collecting, analysing and interpreting non-numeric

data such a language. Quality data is defined as non-numeric data such as text. video, photos or
audio recording. These types of interviews can be collected using analysis based on theory or
thematic analysis accordingly, interviews photography or audio recordings cannot be made as
this research is time management based. Therefore, qualitative is not suitable for this and it is not
selected by the researcher. Quantitative types of research strategies are the research methods that
involve numbers, hence the root word quantity. These types of research strategies are the ones
that are used in statistical calculations and the like Quantitative research is the process of
collecting and analysing statistical data.it can be used to find patterns and average to make
predictions, to examine causal relationship and to generalize results to a wider rpopulation.it is
therefore quantitively suitable for this research. Mixed methods research is a mythology for
conducting research that includes qualitative (e.g. focus group, interviweea) quantitative
(experiment, surveys) research collection analysis and interration. This approach will be used it
conduct reserch, both qualitative and quantitative methods are to use for this research. Therefore,
this is not suitable for research. thuse the researcher uses a mono method for this.
Time horzend-A time horizon research is a methodology used by the marketers to fulfil the
purpose of effective research design. A useful research methodology is a combination of the
physical, social, and cultural site comprising the research study. For qualitative research.
marketers are primarily concerned about a substantive and accurate approach to the study. Also,
this allows the researchers to study the participants in their natural environment achieving a
better understanding of the research. Thus, to help the researchers get a better understanding of
the subject, time horizon can be categorized in the following two categories

Longitudinal Study: It follows the concept of interviewing the same sample of people over time
repeatedly due to its longitudinal nature.

Cross-Sectional Study: As the name indicates, it studies a fresh sample of people every time they
carry out this research. A study once completed is never repeated; instead, it emphasizes on
using a new sample every time. Thus, the concept of time horizon research revolves around the
significance of these two productive approaches to prepare an unmatched market strategy.
Research methods will timelines for individual research panning. There are two types of time
horizons: longitudinal and cross sectional. long term studies will be repeated over a long period
of time, cross sectnal study is limited to a specific time farme, and therefore the cross-sectional
time horizon is used. This research is not long term and is not suitable for long term.
Accordingly, the researcher has selected cross sectional for this research.

3.2 population and sample

The sample is small fraction the total, subset of the total population.it represents the population
of a study. When surveys are connected, the sample is the members of the population who are
invited to participate in the survey. therefore, a sample is a subgroup or subset of a population.
Thus, sample can be studies to investigate the characteristics or behavior of the overall
population data. Accordingly, the employee population of the company will be selected form a
sample and the research will be done. A as sample types includes quota sampling, objective
sampleing,snowball sampling,self-sectiom sampling, easy sampling simple random,etc.therefor
the researcher has identified that quota sampling objective sampling, snowball sampling and self-
selective sampling are not suitable for this reserch.accordingly, simpal random is suitable for
reperches simple random sample is randomly selected subset of a population.in this sampling
system, every member of the population has exactly the same opportunity. Accordingly using a
simple random sample to make statistic conclusions about employees, the researcher selected a
simple random sample of the research. The population ad sample of employees required for this
are calculated by a Morgan table.

3.3 data collection

Data collection is the process of gathering information from all sources to find answers to
research questions, test hypotheses, and evaluate results. Data collection methods fall into two
categories, namely, secondary methods of data collection and primary methods of data
collection. Secondary data is type of data that is already published in books newspapers,
magazines, journals online portals. the data required for the project can be obtained by various
methods in the analysis. therefore, the methods that can be used can build data through
interviews, observe, questionnaires. but since that project is done according to a data is obtained
through questnnairs as methods of primary data collection. The primary data collection methods
such as interview and observe are not used for this purpose as they are required to project and
retrieve the data on time. This research has about three months to complete.therefor.it uses only a
small amount of data as it has a short time to get the required data. quality studies to ensure a
better understanding and qualitative data collection methods include interviews, open ended,
quizzes, focus group, observations, play or role play, case studies, and more, but not all of these
methods are used for research’s questionnaire in selected by the researcher because the
questionnaires is suitable for this.

3.4 data collection instrument

a questionnaire is a research tool that contains a list of questions requiring responses form a
predefined group of people.it is used to collect relevant information that can help arrive at
definite results during research. Questionnaires are used to collect both qualities and quantitative
data form respondents. Its combines different question types like close-ended and open-ended
questions that allow to extract large when volume of data form respondents, and able to
coordinate data-collection firsthand.

 Accurate and systematic data collection is critical to conducting scientific research

 Data collection allows us to collect information that we want to collect about our study
object
 Depending on research type, methods of data collection include: documents review,
observation, question measuring or combination of different methods.

The methods as the tools which used and analyzing data which relevant to the research study
such as Questionnaires and observations document, government sources and experiments.
According to this research the researcher only using questionnaires to collect the data which
required to concut the research study because this instrument can provide speed respondent
and researcher can select the data without any time delaying when conducting about the
questionnaires. There are many kind of questionnaires which can use for but this researcher
is making the questionnaires by using 5.likerts scale.

3.6 data analysis

Data analytics is a broad field. There are four primary types of data analytics: descriptive,
diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics. Each type has a different goal and a different
place in the data analysis process. These are also the primary data analytics applications in
business. Descriptive analytics helps answer questions about what happened. These techniques
summarize large datasets to describe outcomes to stakeholders. By developing key performance
indicators these strategies can help track successes or failures. Metrics such as return on
investment (ROI) are used in many industries. Specialized metrics are developed to track
performance in specific industries. This process requires the collection of relevant data,
processing of the data, data analysis and data visualization. This process provides essential
insight into past performance. Diagnostic analytics helps answer questions about why things
happened. These techniques supplement more basic descriptive analytics. They take the findings
from descriptive analytics and dig deeper to find the cause. The performance indicators are
further investigated to discover why they got better or worse. This generally occurs in three
steps: Identify anomalies in the data. These may be unexpected changes in a metric or a
particular market, Data that is related to these anomalies is collected, Statistical techniques are
used to find relationships and trends that explain these anomalies.

3.7 reliability, vailidity and generalizability

Reliability- When we examine a construct in a study, we choose one of a number of possible

ways to measure that construct [see the section on Constructs in quantitative research, if you are
unsure what constructs are, or the difference between constructs and variables]. For example, we
may choose to use questionnaire items, interview questions, and so forth. These questionnaire
items or interview questions are part of the measurement procedure. This measurement
procedure should provide an accurate representation of the construct it is measuring if it is to be
considered valid. For example, if we want to measure the construct, intelligence, we need to have
a measurement procedure that accurately measures a person's intelligence. Since there are many
ways of thinking about intelligence (e.g., IQ, emotional intelligence, etc.), this can make it
difficult to come up with a measurement procedure that has strong validity [see the
article: Construct validity (Middleton., 2019)

Validity- The concept of validity is described by a wide range of terms in qualitative studies.
This concept is not a single, fixed or universal concept, but “rather a contingent construct,
inescapably grounded in the processes and intentions of particular research methodologies and
projects” (Winter, 2000, p.1). Although some qualitative researchers have argued that the term
validity is not applicable to qualitative research, but at the same time, they have realized the need
for some kind of qualifying check or measure for their research. For example, Creswell & Miller
(2000) suggest that the validity is affected by the researcher’s perception of validity in the study
and his/her choice of paradigm assumption. As a result, many researchers have developed their
own concepts of validity and have often generated or adopted what they consider to be more
appropriate terms, such as, quality, rigor and trustworthiness (millen, 2021)

Generalizability- Generalizability in qualitative research has been a controversial topic given

that interpretivist scholars have resisted the dominant role and mandate of the positivist tradition
within social sciences. Aiming to find universal laws, the positivist paradigm has made
generalizability a crucial criterion for evaluating the rigor of quantitative research. This positivist
echo has led generalizability to acquire a quantitative meaning, inappropriate for describing
qualitative studies. The purpose of qualitative research has, thus, been directed toward providing
in-depth explanations and meanings rather than generalizing findings. Through a critical review
of empirical and theoretical studies, this commentary seeks to show that in qualitative domains,
generalizability is possible provided that, first, generalizability is the main objective of the study;
second, due precautions concerning the philosophy and terminology selected are taken. Hence,
this commentary contributes to the literature on qualitative research by making suggestions for
more consistent and unanimous procedures to adopt in qualitative inquiries (kistina, 2020).

3.8 ethical consideration

Ethical Considerations can be specified as one of the most important parts of the research.
Dissertations may even be doomed to failure if this part is missing. According to Bryman and
Bell (2007) the following ten points represent the most important principles related to ethical
considerations in dissertations: Research participants should not be subjected to harm in any
ways whatsoever ,Respect for the dignity of research participants should be prioritized, Full
consent should be obtained from the participants prior to the study, The protection of the privacy
of research participants has to be ensured, Adequate level of confidentiality of the research data
should be ensured Anonymity of individuals and organizations participating in the research has
to be ensured. Any deception or exaggeration about the aims and objectives of the research must
be avoided, affiliations in any forms, sources of funding, as well as any possible conflicts of
interests have to be declared, any type of communication in relation to the research should be
done with honesty and transparency Any type of misleading information, as well as
representation of primary data findings in a biased way must be avoided.
respondents must attend with informed consent. The principle of informed consent includes
providing the researcher with adequate information and understanding of the implications of
participation, and ensuring that participates are fully informed, considered and feely informed
about whether or not to do so without any pressure. Prevent the use of abusive or other
unacceptable language in the preparation of question papers or use easy way for everyone,
failure to obtain sponsors attention for this project, doing so without causing harm when
obtaining company permission, participates cannot be compelled to obtain information and it
must be done at their discretion, data security needs to be considered and methods for storing
them need to be developed.

3.9 role of the researcher

The role of the researcher in qualitative research is to try to again access to the throughs and
feelings to the study participants. however, while collecting data, the primary responsibility of
the researcher is to project participants and their data. researcher here are the employees builds
data on practicality and idinficifation.the google form has been used to provide information. The
researcher has taken steps to build the information within three months of the research. because
this research is an individual research, the time and cost involve the researcher has worked to

period of time through a questionnaire among the selected employees through a Morgan table.it
uses both primary and secondary data collection methods to obtain maximum data from primary
data via queastinnaire.the researcher asses all the data and conduct this research according to the

CHAPTER 04: .DATA ANALYSIS

4.1 respondent analysis

Online questionnaires help save time in data collection. Therefore, employees will be allowed to
complete the questionnaire whenever they want. This improves the response rate of the
questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed and administered online, facilitating feedback
from a large number of respondents. All of the response data collected for research purposes will
include information obtained from employees asking questions about the employee's opinions or
experience of the research or any activity or event. Accordingly, feedback form employees will
be analysed and data modeling communication research will be used. Respondents may or may
not be structured and may produce a wide variety of data. This approach decibels interviews of
respondents, compares different types of respondents and then edits and modifies it.
Additionally, analyses the data by answering questions.

Response analysis refers to the analysis of the employees working in John keels company using
their personal responses. According to this research study, the researcher conducts an analysis of
age, gender. Marital status and work experience of employees working in John Keells company
is studied here.

RO1:to identify the effect of collaboration tools on improving team work in the
organization

To identify the impact of collaboration tools to improve teamwork in the organization There is
widespread agreement on the importance of workplace collaboration tools in any project
team. One of the important risks is that team members miss critical information during the
project. Collaboration tools help team members stay in close contact throughout a project,
reducing the chances that someone might miss an important update. It also helps employees
manage their time while working as a team, which benefits the company. John Keells Company
EmployeesIt supports company development as well as employee motivation through the use of
collaboration tools to improve teamwork.

RO2:assess the effect of organization support of the collaboration tools on improving team
work in the organization

Organizational support refers to an employee's feeling that he or she is encouraged and supported
as a member of his or her company, and the extent to which an organization provides resources,
communication, reinforcement, and encouragement to improve employee well-being. When
individual improvements or behavioral changes occur, the ecosystem around that change must
support it. If it doesn't, change doesn't happen or is less likely to be sustainable. Therefore
Organizational support has an effect on collaboration tools to improve teamwork in the
organization.Where the employees of John Keells Company, corporate support helps to improve
team work. For corporate support Using collaboration tools can build employee motivation in the
company.

RO3:assess the effect of system quality support of the collaboration tools on improving
team work in the organization
System Quality: A quality system is defined as the organizational structure, responsibilities,
processes, procedures and resources to implement quality management. Quality management
includes those aspects of the overall management function that determine and implement the
company's quality policies and quality objectives. Therefore, the effect of the system quality
support of collaboration tools is beneficial to improve the teamwork of the organization.

RO4:assess the effect of group factors of the collaboration tools on improving team work in
the organization

A group factors i.e. a group is a mathematical group obtained by adding together similar
elements of a larger group using an equivalence relation that preserves some of the group
structure. Therefore, team factors in collaboration tools are beneficial for improving
organizational teamwork, where employees of the company support the use of team factors in
collaboration tools, which gives the company the opportunity to improve teamwork.

specification, documents the system for further reference.Applying these objectives to extra
sample data above,we can ascertain that a conceptual data should capture the key business
entities (a person, place, concept, event,or thing about which the organization wants to collect
data) as well as the relationship between these entities.

 advantages of conceptual limitation

since conceptual models are only abstracts conceptsand repetitions of each relationship, the
potential benefits of implementing a conceptual model are many but largely dependents on
ability to form a robust model in the first place in general among the basie advantages of the
concept of limitation are

define project scope:a solid conceptual can be used as way to define project scope that helps
with time management and scheduling accordingly, the time scale table helped in completing the
projects in timely manner.

lack of independents, lack of appropriate technology and effective planning, management,

 disadvantage of conceptual limitation

implementing challenging scales by size:while concepts applications are inherently unsuitable

for large applications,it can be challenging to develop and maintain a proper conceptual models,
especially for complex projects,as the number of potential problems or conflicts is growing
rapidly. The size of the system increases therefore, there is limit to the amount of information that
can be obtained,so it is necessary to take more information form the select group.

Building upon finding of research: these may rate to findings study that did not anticipate
moreover, may suggest future research to address unanswered aspects of researcher problem.

addressing imitations research: research will not be free from limitations and these may relate to
formulation of research aim and objectives, application of data collection methods, sample
size, scope of discussion and analysis etc.

Metrological limitation

Various mythic methods are commonly used in gathering the information as well as the data
required for the implementation of these projects. Various methods have been used for this
project to manage sampling and selection issues, limited access to data, time limitation,
identifying the limitation accordingly, methods, data collection process, time, sample profile,
equipment. Therefore, the organization collects data from employees. Collecting data and getting
appropriate information through questionnaires. Therefore the information is done according to a
simple data collection process. These projects are aimed at a certain period of time and the time
garntt chart is used to manage the questionnaire Data is stored through. As all the actions are
done to a certain extent, according to the metrological limit, the information retrieval of the
employees is limited to a certain limit. Employees select information from a sample size, all of
which is done within a certain limit using such methods to facilitate dissemination.

Response bias limits should be found. It would be suggested that future researchers should select
more than one examiner for the survey, distribution and collection, and a pilot study could be
conducted before final data collection.

Structural limitation.

For these projects Using tables and graphs to manage the time spent on research and to indicate
the process of storing and retrieving data, tables and graphs made it easy to select information.
The ability to understand it correctly is made up of the table. And the chart is easy to use. It is to
some extent information storage.

5.4 Contributing to Knowledge and Personal Recognition

This expansion is done by analyzing companxs background information. Accordingly, these

projects have been started using different methods based on a schedule table. The information
has been collected at the right time. Since it is difficult to get the information of the entire staff to
get the company information, a sample of the company's employees has been selected for that
and according to the sample size used in a table, data has been built from the employees.
have.Questionnaire and for that. Questionnaires make it possible to collect information quickly
and easily in a timely manner. According to the gantt chart the information is analyzed according
to the data by selecting a period and using a similar topic, so many methods were used for the
project and it was easy.Research design and research approaches have also been used for this
project. During the execution of these projects it will be possible to understand how to create
problems in the project as well as how to manage the time of a project according to a specific
plan and how to analyze the data correctly to make the project successful.

5.5.Personal reflection
This research is conducted on the effect of using collaboration tools to improve teamwork among
employees at John Keells. During the preparation of the report the researcher identified some
limitations and the researcher took some steps to overcome and complete those limitations.
Timeliness of the research report can be identified with quality as the main limitation identified
by the researcher. The major limitation identified by the researcher is the lack of time limit as
this research was delivered within a fixed period of time. So this researcher made this report in
parts and research work. Due to this limitation, the researcher was learning to manage time and
work well with deadlines. The researcher used the time scale chart to properly manage the time
available to the individual to complete the task on time

During the preparation of the report, certain limitations were identified and the researcher took
some measures to overcome those limitations and complete the research report qualitatively on
time. The main limitation identified by the researcher is the lack of deadline due to this research
which has resulted in the delivery within the specified time. Therefore, this researcher completed
this report section by section and conducted the research work using the to-do list. So because of
this limitation, the researcher was learning to manage time and work well with deadlines. The
researcher has used the time scale table to manage the time to complete the task on time without
missing the task. The time scale table of the research study shows that it is 90 days but the
researcher can complete the research within 86 days. Help using network diagram. With the help
of memagantt cart diagram, the researcher did some work in parallel with another research task
to avoid wasting time on one task. The researcher used questionnaire as the method of data
collection because of the current epidemic situation in the country, there are benefits and
advantages to employees as well as time saving and cost saving. This researcher conducts this
research study through the employees of John keells holdings company located in colombo.
