X. Rationale:
As the education ventures the new normal to
address the gap brought about by the 2-year pandemic
and the new career progression introduced by the
department, a change on the teachers RPMS-PPST is
hereby introduced through the DepEd Memorandum No.
008 series of 2023 entitled multi-year guidelines on the
Results-based Performance Management System –
Philippine Professional Standards for teachers.
With this changes, it is a must for the school to

understand the new guidelines to redirect the teachers’
preparations and competencies to the set standards, thus
an orientation about the DepEd memorandum will be
conducted by the school on February 24, 2023.
XI. Terminal Objective:
To orient teachers of the new guidelines on the RPMS-PPST.
XII. Enabling Objectives:
 To understand the standard competencies a teacher

should met at the end of the school year;
 To help the teacher direct their career path in the right
direction;
 To support teacher in preparation for their professional

development; and

 To make teacher knowledgeable of the implementation of

new performance management and appraisal of
teachers.
XIII. Expected Outputs:
Region XII
 Teachers are knowledgeable of the new guidelines of RPMS-

PPST that can be observed through their reflections and
change of behavior in teaching.
XIV. Activity Description:
The SLAC session will be conducted in face-to-face modality
(Wearing of Face Mask and Social Distancing will strictly be

implemented and observed during the conduct of the said
activity.)
XV. Performance Indicators:
100% attendance of teachers and submitted outputs.
