Central Maintenance & Training Division, BPC, Begana August 1998 – December

 Planned and supervised the maintenance of distribution transformers and allied electrical equipment.
 Supervised manufacturing and testing of distribution transformers with a transformer capacity
ranging from 16kVA to 250kVA.
 Repaired, maintained, and configured distribution substation equipment including current and
potential transformers, circuit breakers, and relays.
 Prepared the technical and cost estimates for the decorative illumination of the Punakha Dzong.
 Supervised and lead the team to electrify the entire Trongsa Dzong and Thruepang Palace for the
investiture ceremony of the Choetse Penlop on 31 October 2004.

DISTINGUISHED HONORS RECEIVED

 Received the letter of appreciation from the management of Bhutan Power Corporation Limited in
July 2017 for rendering distinguished services, specifically, for the successful decorative illumination
of the historical monuments in Thimphu, the capital city, coinciding the commemoration of the 60 th
Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth King of Bhutan.
 Received the Employee of the Year Award in Bhutan Power Corporation Limited in July 2016 for
professional commitment and dedication and outstanding contribution out of more than 2,400 full-
time employees.
 Received meritorious promotion to Senior Engineer from Engineer in Bhutan Power Corporation
Limited in July 2015 for consistent outstanding and superior professional performances.
 Received Bronze Medal from the His Majesty the Fifth King of Bhutan for dedicated services to the
nation on 17 December 2009 during the 102nd National Day Celebration of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
