Academic performance as the dependent variable. The past research conducted said
that the students' academic performance varies on the different types of teaching
methods. Discussion, demonstration, lecture, problem solving, etc. are some.of the
examples. Learning methods should be used according to the teacher, and the learners
objectives.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
This study aims to investigate the relationship between teaching methods and academic
performance among Grade 11 STEM students at Sacred Heart Academy of Sta. Maria
(Bulacan), Inc. The research is grounded in David Kolb’s experiential learning theory,
which highlights the significance of hands-on experience in the learning process. This
teaching approach is considered one of the best practices for science education,
particularly in inclusive classrooms. The experiential learning theory encourages active
engagement with the subject matter, fostering a deeper understanding and the
development of practical skills.
