Theme: “UNITED FOR A VAW-FREE PHILIPPINES”
DIGITAL POSTER - MAKING CONTEST
The Poster-Making Competition is open to all students enrolled in ZPPSU. The guidelines are as follows: 1. The entries for the digital poster making contest must convey a message relative to the theme “UNITED FOR A VAW-FREE PHILIPPINES ”. 2. The competition is exclusive for ZPPSU officially enrolled students this semester. 3. Orientation of the digital poster, landscape or portrait, shall be upon the discretion of the participants. 4. The participants can use any editing software like Photoshop, Paint, etc. 5. Any artwork in the poster must be an original design. Poster designs containing clip-arts will not be considered by the judges. The artist will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and authenticity of the design. 6. The video recording of the participant creating the digital poster should not exceed 10 minutes including a short, spoken introduction/description about the digital poster. 7. The video recording must comply with the following; a. Venue must be closed, free from any unnecessary noise but has proper lighting b. Any form of special audio and video effects during recording is not allowed c. Recording must be conducted without an audience d. The entire digital poster making must be within the video frame at all times e. There must be no cut or pause during the recording from start up to the end of the delivery f. Any camera movement (e.g. panning, close-up, zoom) is not allowed g. Any form of post-recording audio processing and video setting is not allowed 8. The digital poster shall be saved in as a data file in .jpg format and .mp4 format with resolution of at least 1024x760 and screen ratio of 4:3 and must be submitted together with the initially filled out entry form. Email the entry files @ [email protected] with the subject line "DIGITAL POSTER-MAKING CONTESR ENTRY_(NAME OF STUDENT)_(COLLEGE/DEPARTMENT)". 10. There will be a set of judges selected by the organizers, largely constituted by the people involved in the field. Their task is to select 3 winners for the category. The performance of the grand champion will be presented during the Closing Program and the Awarding Ceremony. of symmetry, focal point, pattern, perspective, dimensionality, and proportion. 11. Submission of entries will be on November 28, 2022 at 5pm. There will be an online engagement on November 28 to December 12, 2021 to identify the Online People’s Choice Award. Per reaction will be counted as one point.
B. Criteria For Judging
a. Relevance to the theme (35%) The design should effectively communicate the given theme. b. Originality (35%) The artwork must show the ability to be inventive and creative. c. Aesthetic Appeal (30%) Total: 100%
