Event Codes

Event Codes To ensure your truck’s ACCESS 123 software is up-to-


date, use ACCESS 1 and scroll to the Utilities menu.

ACCESS 1: Display Control Module (DCM)
No Event Code?
ACCESS 3: Traction Control Module (TCM)

Step 1: Using a DVOM check for 24V between TP8
and TP7 on platform distribution panel. Energize output
for ALM1 in analyzer mode.

• If: 0V.
– Then remove wire 5917 from CA302-2 and
check for 24V between CA302-2 and TP7 on
platform distribution panel. Energize output for
ALM1 in analyzer mode.

• If: 0V.
– Then replace ACCESS 1.

• If: 24V.
– Then check continuity of wire 5917.

• If: Open.
– Then repair/replace wiring.
